pressure down to 9.79. still moving to the west and expected to make the turn to the north. that'll happen this weekend. as it does that turn, it will continue to intense phi so that about -- intensify so that by the time it turns to jamaica, it will be 120 mile-per-hour winds. at this point here, it will likely bisect jamaica and haiti here. the cone covers both of them. if it stays over water, it has a better chance so that by the time remains as a cat-2 there. over cuba and heading into the bahamas. we are in the bahamas tuesday into wednesday and there after it becomes very difficult to forecast because we are so many days out. keep checking back with us. the models are keeping it east of florida but too close to be able to say we're out of the woods here. so again, it's something we have to pay attention to with matthew that's continuing to strengthen.

partly cloudy sky -- this afternoon with partly cloudy skies. i still think we're dealing with a decent weekend here and into early next week. we'll continue with temps in the upper 80s and afternoon showers and storms. we've been covering that fatal crash where a pedestrian has been hit this morning. >> just a terrible way to start this friday morning commute. these are live pictures right here on i-75 southbound. this crash happened just past fowler. we know someone wa the interstate when they were struck or killed. expect the lanes to be closed for quite some time because it takes a while for investigators to figure out what happened here. southbound 75 closed just past fowler. you can get off at fowler, however, traffic is backing up, so you might want to get off at fletcher or even farther north. all of the lanes are closed here. if you are coming from pasco, 301 might be a better option for you. you could also try 275.

looking great. we checked your average speed. there it is right there, heading south 61 miles per hour. as the morning commute pushes on, 275 starts to get crowded. this crash isn't going to help that. if you usually take 275 south, leave yourself extra time because a lot of cars will be heading that way. it's 11 minutes now until 5:00 or 6:00. take a look at this. a golfer in pennsylvania spotted a rainbow over statue of arnold palmer and snapped that picture. palmer passed away last weekend. lower valley was founded by palmer and the statue was unveiled on his birthday a few miles from his hometown. we've got a whole list of football games for you. miami takes on georgia tech. usf plays cincinnati at 7:00 p.m. the football action starts at noon tomorrow right here on
