matthew is now a cat 4 hurricane. so he is going to have a full update for you coming up on action 5 -- action news at 5:00. but let me give you what is going on here locally right now. we have so swers a storms so around 301. al and, again, quite a bit of lightning associated with these. so heavy downpours down there. as you broaden the view, once again, just hit or miss showers or storms tonight if you're out and about. you could encounter something between now and the next fizzle out here. as we get closer to 8:00, a few isolated showers by midnight we are ce and dry. and we remain that way overnight. although there's a pesky batch of rain that continues to churn here off shore. that's at least what the model is showing, getting close to the beaches tomorrow morning around st. pete beach. possibly we would see something develop there. most likely the beaches are going to be dry tomorrow morning. i think it's sunday morning that we have a greater likelihood of catching some

bubbling up. not a ton of coverage though for tomorrow. so we're looking at a pretty nice day to start off with a round of golf. if you need to yard work in early tomorrow, take a walk, all looking great out there. by noon, we're on the dry side cross the area. it's not until 2:00, 3:00 that we start to see the showers and storms bubbling up. with a high of 88. not bad. tomorrow morning, like i said, a little less humid little more comfortable, especially in our northern counties. and with a low around 73 degrees in tampa tomorrow morning, also not bad. not a major drop in temperatures but hopefully some of you will notice it. with only 30% coverageof showers and storms through the weeken it's loong nice out there. we will start to see the rain chances coming up into early next week though. here is the 4-day forecast at 00. we have the latest from hurre ancenter and denis will have that at 5:00. paul.
