tip there of haiti and heading into the east part of cuba where we have began tan ma city, they're going to have to deal with this as well. 130 miles per hour winds and then it heads to the north, hooks west which we don't like but we think it will head east of florida. that's what we're thinking right now. with additional model runs it can change: ly show you the difference in the european and u.s. model but had is a track that would give us some gusty winds on thursday and friday: we would be on the drier side of the storm. if this holds i think we will be in pretty desen shape the winds, this is important as well. with matthew, the tropical storm force winds which is 39 or above extend out almost 200 miles but the hurricane forced winds only about 30 miles so the more destructive winds are very concentrated near the senor. that's where we will talk about significant winds right where
9:19 am
us will talk about certainly gusty winds but very heavy rain fall is a primary threat across the islands. the european and u.s.: we show you this all the time. watch the agreement and we like to see the agreement because we have high confidence in the forecast. there it is across eastern cuba through tuesday morning but watch what happens as we put into this motion through friday and into saturday. there they go, separating, and i will tell wow what the latest runs from this european have this way too close to florida so this has to be watched very leslie. there's the u.s. going well to north and east. until we have a better consensus east or west it will make a huge difference on what we have especially along the east coast of florida. for us if the track hold it is way it is right now or moves further east, we are looking at 20 to 25 miles per hour winds for our area, dry side of the storm, sunny, winds di conditions on thursday and friday. if it moves further to west, we
9:20 am
across the eastern part of the state. so that is all we have to play with the next few days. we still have plenty of time to watch it for us, of course an imminent threat along the caribbean. what we have to deal with is what we had yesterday. look at this line that crossed us yesterday with one to three inch rain fall. we have a potential to repeat through later this afternoon because of that east wind, which by the way is indirectly, already affecting us from matthew down to the south. that east flow continues and look at what happens as i put future cast into motion. not doing much and they hit the sea breeze and we talk about explosive rain fall totals later on today, upwards of three inches not out of the question. so forecast about 87 for the afternoon high and between 4:00 to 7:00. if you have outdoor plans, we are talking about a nonoctober event here, very tropical rains that could accumulate very quickly. tuesday and wednesday still
