two people already. >> reporter: that is right, this happened one block straight down this road behind me, the maintenance man chased one of the robbers two blocks, he then tackled him to the ground and held him there until deputies got to the scene but the woman was hurt badly. she was punched in the face several times and hit in the head with a piece of metal, here's a picture of the man accused of doing that. he is only 18 years old. he used to live with one of the park employees but he did not know the woman that he robbed, deputies arrested this guy. he drove the other men to the elderly woman's house, i talked to family members they did not want to go on camera but they told me this woman has a swollen face, she tried to fight the robert who was screaming for her to die as he

lets get back to the forecast temperatures right now on the warm side. you should have expected this that is what we were expecting today, 86 degrees in tampa, look to the north, winds have shifted and the front is about on top of tampa, the cooler air starting to settle in as the northwesterly flow continues to bring in the cooler air, you can see with the winds at 10 to 15 miles per hour the 20 mile per hour range, nothing extreme but these are the signs that this cooler drier air is starting to move into the area. you will really feel it tomorrow morning, if you are planning on a round of golf may be time it out differently when you see the temperatures, coming up in a bit. laura. take a look at the red in this map, those are places people can't log onto netflix.

searching for an unconscious man. let's go to michael paluska who just got to the scene. >> reporter: a lot of activities for the past 30 to 45 minutes or so, cruise with clearwater police, tampa fire and police have been going in and out of the causeway on the east side two miles from the boat ramp, they're trying to go in and check the shallow area in case the the area, the person as you mentioned slipped as they were pushing their boat from shallow water into deeper water, a woman says he slipped hit his head on the boat went under she tried to throw him a life jacket but was unsuccessful and then the current or whatever happened swept him away that is why crews are here frantically searching the police helicopter has been making rounds for the past 10 minutes or so, the water is extremely shallow

starts now. breaking news the search underway for an unconscious man in the water. >> michael paluska joins us live from the ground the search has been active for more than an hour. where are we right now? >> reporter: we just got an update from the fire department trying to figure out where he went into the water. a number of boats way far out maybe one or two miles away from the courtney campbell boat ramp, they are trying to figure out if he or if his boat got stuck on shallow water and that is where he started to push it. that is going to make a big difference where they search, let's show you the live chopper aerials, they have been out there for more than one and a half hours. it is right now at low tide which is good cause where i am standing would normally be underwater, that gives them a better chance to find this person, this man that went

the good news the waves are getting higher making the water murky. the water in this area is normally crystal clear today unfortunately it is not. we do know there was a woman with him, she saw him hit his head for fall under and she threw him a life jacket but he couldn't make it in time, possibly because he was unconscious. crews have been out here and they are still frantically searching went in the water around 3:30 this afternoon. it is low tide but it is murky and first responders tell us they will search out here as long as the sun is in the sky. we will bring you updates when we get them. hopefully there's a good ending to the story. live from tampa, michael paluska abc action news. to our other top stories, eat up in
