anthony lockinour weaving in and out of traffic on u.s. 19 north saturday night. they tried to stop him but he kept ongoing. he crashed into a pickup truck and tried to keep going but the vehicle broke down. lockinour and his passenger are facing multiple charges. they found a stolen gun and drugs in the vehicle. the people in the pick up are okay. hillsborough county teachers will meet to discuss the district wide hiring freeze. the "tampa bay times" reports there are 100 vacancies in district but the school board says they can fill them from an internal pool of roughly 1,000 research pools. they are trying to save money from the general fund after the fund lost $200 million in the last several years. breaking overnight, the u.s. says it did not carry out an air strike that killed

officer tries to pull a car over. the driver starts to pull over then takes off leaving the officer and woman on a chase. that's when this happens. >> pretty scary. the driver pulls out a gun, shots at the police and heights the windshield. photos of the aftermath shows how close one bullet came to hitting the woman. car. the suspect got way. two passengers walk through an unlocked door at an airport and on to an empty plane. this morning the seven for who is at fault for the security mishap. that man and his 21-year-old daughter boarded flight 1655 in philadelphia. they weren't authorized to be on the plane yet. the pilot said someone left the door open overnight.

what caused this bus to crash into a semi killing 13 people. the force of the impact was so strong it sent the bus 15 feet into the truck's trailer. it's not clear if the bus was speeding but it was going faster than the semi. 31 people are recovering from injuries. the injuries are minor saying that is unusual for such a high speed crash. dozens of tow truck drivers lined i-75 over the weeken driver. they honked their horns as they drove past the spot where corey mcgwire was hit and killed two weeks ago. they hope his death will encourage people to obey the move over law. when huh see an emergency vehicle on the side of the road, move over one lane. they say they have had way too many close calls of their own. >> reporter: worshippers in miami gardens are shaken after

the wreck sent debris flying. it injured eight people. the driver had to swerve to avoid another car and lost control. that sedan slammed into this church, mount zion ame church. >> we heard allowed noise. i thought it was a bomb. everybody was running out of the church. >> the accident left pieces of concrete scattered on floors and pews. suffer a head injury. >> another at a church in south carolina. a man suddenly started stabbing the man in front of him for no reason. deputies say billy lewis stabbed the victim three times with a 6-inch knife. he is charged with attempted murder. they say as far as they know there was no argument or past conflict but the suspect has a history of mental health issues. he has severe injuries.

missing 21-year-old woman suspected of getting lost or injured hiking alone on the columbia river. anna schmidt was reported missing wednesday. she was last seen by her roommate more than a week ago. authorities will search again only if they get new information or leads about schmidt. she is an avid hiker holding out hope she is still alive. >> it's been a long day. but we have not given up. we feel strongly that she is -- she is and that we just got to get her. >> deputies agree she is an experienced hiker but was not prepared to spend the night. no signs of foul play. demonstrators are wrapping up their protest against a pipeline project in north dakota. thousand temporarily blocked a highway on sunday. deputies arrested more than 100

the shocking part of the story comes from the abc station in miami. they report that the cousin of one of the victims arrived on scene after the shooting and instead of helping he took video and posted it to facebook. the video has been removed. we are learning new information after a woman shot three people in miami including a 12-year-old boy. the boy was shot outside his home saturday night. he is in critical condition this morning. a 17 and robbed and shot after complying with the robber and giving up their personal items. a jacksonville woman is offering a $500 reward for information about the person that shot and killed her cat with a bow and arrow. it's the third family cat killed. she found her cat dead after he went missing for three days. she thinks the person that killed the cat killed two our

county teachers want to know if their jobs are on the line after news of a hiring freeze, some fear cuts could be coming. rodney dunigan is gathering details about talks happening later today. rodney, is this something parents should be concerned about? >> reporter: well, dan, a number of parents may be concerned hearing about this this morning. the district superintendent released a message on youtube reassuring parents and the public despite possible cuts education will not be affected. >> you have to make sure that the very best people are in front of our students every day. then we have to take a look at all the other em please -- employees. >> the school district hired an outside consultant that recommended that hiring freeze which could save the district $10 million. the superintendent maintains any move being made or to put students first. the teaching force has about
