crash in tampa overnight. these images, tough to look at as we find out a mother and her 3 children were inside one of those vehicles. >> we want to get to abc action news anchor, lindsay logue outside tampa international with the heart breaking update. good morning. >> reporter: good morning to you, absolutely heart breaking, that mother and her 2 young children died in the crash. a third child here condition. there is a 4th person that was involved, a 4th child in serious condition here at the hospital. i want to get you the latest information right now that troopers just gave to us within the last hour, get you up to speed on the crash. for whatever reason, a man named pablo cortes crossed the median into on coming traffic on mlk near coconut palm drive. when he did, he slammed head on into marianela murillo's mini

that mini van immediately burst into flames, trapping marianela murillo inside along with 4 children. 3 of them, her own. she and her children, a 9-year-old and 10-year-old, died. cortes and the passenger died at the scene last night. troopers say it appears none of the drivers involved had been drinking. we have an entire list, the names of everyone involved in the crash, as well as the fu live in tampa general hospital, i am lindsay logue, abc action news. we have just confirmed who is behind the wheel of a car that crashed into a house this morning in lutz. >> turns out the driver is from a prominent football family here in the bay area. abc action news reporter ryan smith has the latest details. good morning.

15 minutes ago, 26-year-old maxwell holloway was behind the wheel, killed in the deadly crash, son of former nfl player brian holloway and maxwell played football for boston college 2009-2011. now that we are getting daylight, we are getting a better picture of the crash sight. a lot of debris scattered along the roadway and the driver veered off the roadway behind me and he utility pole and take a look right there, the car smashed into this man's garage and kept going, running alongside the house. lets go to video we shot a few mints ago-- minutes abow from the other side of the house, it gives a better look at the damage the vehicle caused. i spoke with the home owner, he said six people were sleeping inside, incleeding three children when-- including three children when the car came and

this morning. a wrecker fished out the dodge charger from the tree line, the vehicle, completely smashed from the top, and extensive damage and left a lot of debris. hdso says holloway was driving west on lutz lake fern road, couldn't make a tern, veered off the road, he struck a utility pole and crashed and was killed from impact. first responders found the vehicle upside down. as we side, the car came out right behind me here, this is where the wrecker and tow truck retrieved the vehicle. everyone inside the house is okay and the crash did shut down a portion of lutz lake fern roast for most of the morning. ryan smith, abc action news. >> thanks. back to the breaking news in lake wales, a man hunt is on

officers, 27-year-old officer leslie, and jose vaga. an oregon surfer attacked by a shark said he was certain he was going to die. joseph tanner said his entire leg was in the shark's mouth when it attacked him off the oregon coast. he said the massive animal felt like sand paper and he punched it in the gills to get free. >> my first thought was unreal. like no way, this is not happening. somebody has a robot shark or something. and then second thought was going to die. >> the real shark all right, tanner is a trauma nurse, actually and swam to shore after the attack. he was instructing others on how to tie a tourniquet around his mangled leg. spent 9 days in the hospital, 3 surgeries, expert believe the shark was likely a great white. a scam is targeting american express card holders. what you need to know so you don't waste your money.

phishing scams, most cloe to delete e mail-- know to delete e mails that claim there is a problem with your account. a new one is tripping up even sophisticated e mail user whose figured they would never fall for a scam. the website hooksslayer.com says watch out for an e mail from american express that claimatize will make your-- claims it will make your card more secure, urges a personal security key or safe key to make the card many people are falling for it. the e mail says for your protection, set up a personal security key or psk, it claims it will encrypt your card number and links to what appears to be an american express website. they ask for your account number and information. it is an elaborate scam. the problem is american express offers a safety but you need to
