tonight. the plane began fishtailing as it touched down at new york's laguardia airport in bad weather. first responders reached the aircraft and fortunately nobody was hurt. authorities are looking for a man who tried to lure a child to go with him. marisela burgos live in pasco county with the way he tried to win over that child. marisela. >> reporter: deputies say somewhere around here that suspicious man approached that child and said you can have candy if an 11-year-old boy walking to his bus stop had something strange happen at 7:45 this morning. deputies sea he was near the 6400 block of mangrove drive in wesley clap pell when a man tried to bribe him with candy. >> that's a little extreme. >> reporter: deputies say the suspicious man was trying to get the student to follow him into the woods.

detectors. a warning from the broward county sheriff about a new social media hoax. you click a leak on your home page and the phone starts dialing 911 and won't stop, the sheriff calling the hoax a major public safety issue because deputies to have check out each call. his advice, don't open any links if you are not sure of the source. good evening everybody. still look at partly cloudy skies, warm mp there is quite a bit of cloud cover out there. there are some showers down south. i think they're going to stay that way but still, first thing tomorrow morning when you wake up you are actually going to see more clouds than sun with temperatures in the upper 60s to lower 70s. most of the areas near the coast will wake up to 70 degrees.

new tonight more women are coming forward accusing an ex university of wisconsin student of sexual police are now arresting howard cook, a student claiming he raped her for more than two hoirns his own apartment. here is the daily. tonight four more women are telling police that cook attacked them as well, investigators telling reporters they found a black book in cookies apartment describing in chilling detail the women he had met and he document what he wanted to do to them. cookies lawyer saying he is innocent and a victim of character assassination.

video from a massive apartment fire in new york, flames killing one person. in the middle of that chaos cameras capturing a firefighter grab an elderly man from his fifth floor window and a crew on the roof carefully lowering both men to the ground. rescuers think flames were closing in on the victim and they couldn't wait on a ladder truck. the man is hospitalized tonight with serious burns. a new jersey school district is shutting down a violent students set up a network to share video of after school fights. the students involved have been disciplined. a driver puts a bus in park and walks off. that's when the huge bus, filled with passengers, starts to radio. one man fights his way through the crowd, steering that bus away from a crowded sidewalk. finally he hits the base. a spokesman says that driver

mind a cool-down. the sun came out, the clouds came out as well. in fact, this afternoon we actually had even more clouds than we had sun. but i think over the weekend we're going to start to see that trend reverse. the weekend is looking good outside. it's just going to be cool. we got teased last weekend, and now we're back to above-normal cities. temperatures right now primarily in the low to mid- 70s. humidity up there as well hit the mid-80s today. normally we should be still well above normal. mid-70s right now under partly cloudy to clear skies. clear both in clearwater and in st. petersburg. there's the satellite. you can see all the cloud cover. socked in. rain going on down south into the keys, and some of that cloud cover spreading in 42 the gulf. i don't think it brings us anything although overnight there will be more clouds than clearing skies, although by

cover. so we will say partly sunny skies to be optimistic for your friday morning, but, yes, we are going to be warmer than normal but at least we will see more sun than clouds. i think that trend continues right into the weekend. so the weather looks great for the usf-navy game. the weather looks great for the bucs game against the raiders. it is just going to be unusually warm. right back in the mid, maybe even upper 80s across the area, but more sunshine an start saying we could use some rain. it is going to be that dry. it's been dry for a week, and i don't see any measurable rain for the next 10 to 14 days. so the good news is, with these kind of temperatures, you are going to be able to go to the beach, get your outdoor work done, including a lot of fall festivals this weekend and halloween festivals. stone crab season started last week. i'm sure a lot of folks will be
