classroom before they tumble right back inside. he doesn't touch either student but does move other students out of the way. according to pinellas county schools, a teacher can intervene physically but is not required to do so if the teach everier -- teacher feels it isn't safe to do so. the pair exchanged more than a hundred thousand messages. investigators telling us, a middle school p.e. teacher began exchanging messages with a 14-year-old girl on social media to detectives, continued talking when the girl moved to high school. london and that girl apparently talked about sex and drugs. london explained sexual actions in graphic detail. police ceylon don and her former student both deny having a sexual relationship. the city of pen that gor da is agreeing to pay more than $2 million to the family of a woman accidentally shot and killed by a police officer during a training exercise over the

shoot/don't shoot exercise. officer lee cole fired two live shots at her instead of blanks. the settlement is coming from the city's insurance policy. it is the maximum amount this policy can pay out. 5:07. a man from the jacksonville area is facing prison time for burying his dead mother in the backyard so he could continue collecting her social security payments. officials say this man, bryan pad -- adams stole over $35,000. he pleaded guilty now faces up to 20 years in prison. hillsboro county deputies are investigating after finding a woman's body in a ditch. someone riding horseback in the area found that body yesterday afternoon near the intersection of 28th avenue south and 58th street. the medical examiner is going to work on figuring that out, as well as the woman's identity. this morning, a sarasota mother convicted of trying to kill her 6-year-old daughter last year is going to find out

despite evidence she suffers from mental illness. authorities say parker tried to drown her daughter in a bathtub before stabbing her. thankfully, the girl survived and fully recovered from her injuries. since we first told you about the sexual battery charges against a clearwater business owner, four more women have come forward. now, police are explaining why they didn't charge her last year when a woman first told her he forced him to perform oil sex on him. a former employee made allegations very similar to the most recent victim. however, police say they didn't have enough evidence for an arrest then. kimberly hunter says that is the same thing largo police told her when she tried to file a complaint. >> he would rub me and try to touch my chest. he was just saying all this

a texas republican is blaming others for a tweet from his campaign account calling hilary choin ton the c word. looking at a screen shot of the since-deleted tweet from republican agricultural commissioner sid miller. explained, staffer rwe a postal worker in georgia can now add he rxo. >> while an his mail route, he noticed smoke coming from the house. he quickly knocked on the doont door and alerted the family inside, saving three adults and one child. >> that's the best feeling, to know from the save lives. i'm not a hero like the firefighter or police, but at least in my hearth, i know i helped someone. >> you were here that day.

895 -- 95. pointing these out because today will be the wetter of the last few days, which moans we may get one shower. it's been great, and i still think today for the most part will be dry and pleasant. warmer than usual as that continues. now, that huge area of high pressure that's brought us the warm conditions across the southeast will eventually break down and allow for this cold front all the way spoo the western u.s. right now. it will arrive friday a band of showers along it and the cool air behind it. we ole begin to move in with temperatures by the time we get into the weekend. very comfortable. right now, mid 60s. upper 60s through the panhandle. you'll see the warm temperatures at this hour continue, which is remarkable for november. 68 in st. louis. chicago is at 62 degrees as this early hour. there's the front. 20 degrees cooler to the north
