investigation. demonstrators protesting the election of donald trump continued in the bay area over the weekend. >> people united will never be defeated. >> more than 500 rallied last night in st. petersburg. immigrants and members of the lgbt community say the demonstration is not just about the election results. they say it's about taking the fight for their values to lawmakers. >> absolutely, they should get out and let their representatives know they're not happy with whatever concerns about whatever political issues that do not jive with the reason the united states of america was founded. >> they say this is the start of a movement they hope encourages people to take action in their communities. those here now coming to terms with president-elect trump. in orlando tens of thousands of people gathered for the city's annual gay pride parade. they paid tribute to the 49 people killed in the pulse nightclub massacre in june.

annual come out with pride parade. hurricane matthew delayed the parade. it was rescheduled to align with the five month anniversary of the pulse nightclub massacre. last june a gunman opened fire killing 49 people and injuring dozens more. we're learning more about the woman who died in a diving accident off madeira beach this weekend. her husband made a distress call to another boater but it was too late. blaise attorney. she worked on a lot of pro bono cases. she volunteered her time to many local organizations and encouraged other attorneys to lend their expertise to those who could not afford one. >> blaise is the kind of person who would quietly inspire people to do those kinds of things. she really worked hard to get other young lawyers in the law

her, and i think will try harder. >> blaise's husband william is also in the hospital recovering from injuries he suffered during that diving accident. officials are still investigating exactly what happened. today the pasco county school district would hold a meeting about rezoning two schools. there's overcrowding at mitchell high school and seven springs middle school in new port richey. this evening's meeting starts at 6. district officials are welcoming parent feedback th up meeting. a recommendation will be sent to the school board for final approval. >> good morning, a lot of clouds out there toyed, not much in the way of sunshine. did you catch the super moon out there. a lot of clouds out there. we'll have pictures throughout the morning of that astronomical event. mid and upper 60s. if you step outside a little bit different, it feels humid. it is mild.

we have clouds to deal with across our northern counties. one feature that we have today and we didn't have yesterday morning was all the cloud cover that tends to limit the fog. we're hoping for that other than it's going to be a mess of a community. mid and upper 60s right now. even a couple of sprinkles with that front that's right on top of usful today we'll push down to the south. crystal river with a few light showers. that would be about it. as we take a look at the planner for th sunshine. temperatures holding into the mid-70s. we'll talk about conditions behind the front. it will cool off big time and dry air coming right back at us. we'll see you in a few minutes. a quick check on the roads here at 4:36. a live look at 275 and i-75. no big issues to report there. we'll check the roads here again in about 15 minutes. we have a traffic alert for drivers in downtown tampa.

20 minutes until 5 right now. this morning deputies near san francisco are mourning the loss of one of their own. deputy dennis wallace was investigating a report about a stolen van this morning when he requested backup. another deputy then found wallace's body a short the suspect took off in a stolen van. authorities caught machado after he carjacked a driver, robbed a liquor store and tried stealing a woman's purse. new zealand's prime minister will tour damage caused by an earthquake that triggered landslides and a small tsunami. that quake cracked roads and damaged buildings. there are two confirmed deaths. a neighborhood feud in alabama is going to new

if you see anything, not as spectacular as you saw on that shot. 2034 will get here in no time. not just clouds up above but down on the ground, and there we see the visibility now dangerously low across portions of pasco county. temps very mild compared to where we've been. in fact, we're running anywhere from 4 to 10 degrees warmer on top of us here. the cooler and much drier air is just to the north and that's scheduled for arrival tonight. we'll get here and then clear us out as we head through the remainder of the week. right now we still have the fog, the cloud cover and even a couple of sprinkles up across the north here. just enough to get us, oh, wet this morning. very isolated as far as any rainfall here. mainly it's going to be cloud

we'll be talking about overnight lows beginning to cool off as well. look at temperatures dropping significantly up to the north. as far as the highs today we'll continue to see these temperatures in the mid to upper 70s. further away, further south you go the warmer it is with temperatures in the upper 70s and low 80s. because of the cloud cover that has started already, the sprinkles up there, very chilly. now, tonight, this is what you'll wake up to tomorrow morning. we'll be talking about these very cold temperatures this is definitely sweater weather, right, upper 40s across citrus, portions of hernando as well with lower 50s across interior. we've been down south, sarasota waking up with temperatures in the mid-50s. despite that we will warm up through the afternoon. we'll talk about that here with temperatures in the mid-70s today. boating still looks pretty good. i'm not going to have any issues here with winds at, so
