above and also a couple of sprinkles as well. it won't amount to much but a lot where this came from as far as cloud cover all day here locked into it. we'll have a few breaks but the clouds certainly went out today with that front and we'll talk about temperatures this morning. with the blanket of clouds up above, not as cool as yesterday in the low to middle 60s. by the afternoon we'll climb back to the mid-70s for afternoon high temperatures, and then we clear out tonight behind the front with very chilly temperatures by tomorrow morning. we'll talk more about just a few minutes. good morning everybody, we're starting off with some overnight construction that is lingering at least into the 6 a.m. hour, if you're in town and country the onramp from eisenhower on to the veterans is closed right now. should reopen by 6. detour signs are posted. taking a look outside, your driver on the interstates looking great, no crashes or break downs there. i-275 right at 22nd avenue north and your drive across the

morning, 9 minutes across the courtney campbell, 6 across the howard franklin, 8 across the gandy. thanks janelle. take a look at this right here. this is breaking news we're following right now, a hate speech and also a fire. political graffiti sprayed all over a home. right next door to that one another home went up in flames. this happened early this morning in eastern hillsborough county. abc action news reporter clifton french is on the scene right now. this is obviously fire. >> reporter: yeah, the evidence for that suspicious fire written right here. you can see right here it says burn everything, and blm, that's typically an acronym for black lives matter. that arrow points right to this trailer and this is a trailer that firefighters found burning this morning. that's not the only thing written on the trailer next door. it says expletive trump and

double wide. firefighters found this graffiti and the burning trailer just before 1:30 this morning. we know that nobody was hurt. we believe both of the trailers involved in this are vacant. something like this does not sit well with neighbors. >> i was just truly broken, heartbroken. i feel like this is not going to be a good four years, you know, if we're going to have a civil war if this keeps on, you know. it's just nonsense. >> reporter: and fire investigators took off quickly before we could get a word with them, so it's not clear what started this fire, but i do think it's safe to assume that they are investigating the possibility of arson. i'm reporting live in hillsborough county, clifton french abc action news. it's been almost a week now since the presidential election and protests continue, but demonstrators in st. petersburg say they have a positive message going forward.

night in st. pete, and they say while they don't like the president-elect they want to get people involved in their communities. they say they are trying to mobilize people to fight against possible trump administration policies. jessica is an undocumented immigrant brought to the u.s. by her parents when she was a young child. she is fighting for a path to citizenship, which would allow her to pursue her dream of becoming a nurse. >> anybody else out there that is living here in the united states undocumented, do not give up. try not to one day your dreams will come true and me as well as people around this world are fighting for you. >> we also talked to a man and his husband worried about the legality of their marriage under a trump presidency. during an interview with cbs news yesterday the president- elect says he's quote, fine with same-sex marriage calling the issue settled by the supreme court. he sat down during the

yesterday's game at raymond james stadium. evans sat alone on the bench during the national anthem. he says he won't stand for something that he doesn't believe in. >> it's not about the republican party or democrat party or anything like that. it's just who he is, and it's well documented what he's done, you know, and i'm not going to stand for somebody i don't believe in. i said this a long time ago, when he ran i haught it was a joke, and the joke continues. >> evans says he disrespecting veterans but says he won't stand for the anthem as long as donald trump is president-elect. not just in the bay area where the election continues to cause controversy. anti-trump protestors filling the streets of several major cities over the weekend, but president-elect trump is moving forward giving us a better look at his stance on some hot button issues sparking the protests. in a 60 minutes interview he shared his plans on immigration in the u.s. and his plans for deporting criminal undocumented immigrants, but he also left

undocumented workers. >> probably 2 million, it could even be 3 million. we are getting them out of our country or we're going to incarcerate. after the border is secured and after everything gets normalized we're going to make a determination on the people that you're talking about who are terrific people, terrific people. >> speaker paul ryan told cnn sunday that mass deportation is not a focus of republicans right now. he says the top priority is really border security. this morning we have a better look at who will be a part of administration. republican national committee chairman reince priebus will be his white house chief of staff passing over steven bannon. bannon oversaw trump's entire presidential campaign. bannon will serve as his chief strategist and senior counselor. bannon's ties to the alt-right and white nationalist movement. other members include newt

>> attorneys representing donald trump have tiled a motion to delay the late against him. he argues that extra months would give both sides time to reach a settlement. the civil trial is set to begin two weeks from today. we're waiting to find out more about a shooting information in tampa. police say they arrested one person but they have not yet released their name. they also found a gun. no one was hurt in that shooting. we need to find out the name of the driver killed in a horrible crash in pinellas county. troopers telling us an suv drove over a concrete barrier on the exit ramp from i-275 to i-175 around 5:30 sunday evening plunging 70 feet. the passenger is in critical condition this morning. >> we're waiting to learn more about the diving accident that killed a local attorney and sent her husband to a hospital. the victim blaise gamba was a well-known attorney.

lot of pro bono cases. gamba also volunteered her time to many local organizations. she encouraged other attorneys to lend their expertise to those who couldn't afford one. her husband william gamba is still in the hospital recovering from injuries he suffered during the accident. some pasco county middle and high school students will be likely forced to change schools and that is upsetting parents. district leaders say enrollment is exceeding capacity and school boundaries need changed. would move their kids 7 miles further away from home. the parents will get a chance to speak out about the proposed boundaries at a meeting tonight at 6 at river ridge high school in new port richey. in orlando tens of thousands of people gathered for the city's annual gay pride parade. they paid tribute to the 49 people killed in the pulse nightclub massacre in june. 150,000 people turned out saturday for orlando's 12th

13 minutes after 5 on this monday morning, four people recovering this morning after being attacked during a flash mob. police say teenagers are responsible for the chaos. it happened last night in philadelphia. the victims include an off-duty detective who tried to stop the attack. police say the group of teens took off after starting the brawl. officers later found and arrested two 16-year-olds who are no investigators are still trying to figure out a motive for the attack. a state of emergency is now in place across parts of tennessee. smoke from two wildfires creating air quality alerts across much of the state. health officials say people with asthma and other respiratory issues especially children are in greatest danger. doctors are reporting a significant spike inpatients having trouble breathing. >> when they go to school in the mornings, i mean just from

what you need. we're missing one ingredient. i think that will limit as far as how much coverage we get with the low clouds this morning. as far as temperatures, very mild, again, the front is still nearby, but the cooler and destroyer air is to the north. you'll feel that after this morning. not only are we in the 60s, the dew points are in the 60s. we're talking about temperatures this early in the morning. we haven't seen this warm in a while. there's the front with some the form of clouds. i don't think it will rain much, if at all. it will take all day and into tonight, it will take a while to clear out. you begin to see that as we head through the overnight hours. we will clear out tomorrow, plenty of sunshine, but with that comes the cool temperatures as well. we'll wake up to very chilly numbers. temps in the mid-70s for today with temperatures running a

and then all of us cooling off big time as we head through tonight. overnight lows dropping back into the upper 40s. not much of a windchill. we'll certainly be and feel very cold tomorrow morning, so plan ahead. you're going to have a completely different wardrobe tomorrow than you have this morning. as far as the temperatures, though, even with that cold start by the afternoon, mid and upper 70s. a nice recovery through the afternoon. we'll have those temperatures continuing in the 70s, and then getting up there to around 80 by lows as well, a little bit milder. and good morning sarasota. we have a crash in your area. let me show you on a map exactly where this is. we have this roundabout closed. the crash is at siesta drive and south gate circle. you might want to use u.s. 41 to avoid that area. we still have this closure surrounding the veteran's expressway. eisenhower, you can't get on to the veterans from eisenhower until about 6 a.m.

it's hard to believe, but next week americans will be sitting, setting the dinner table for thanksgiving. if you're preparing to cook a meal for a family, you'll want to keep one thing in mind when preparing your turkey, don't wash it. you may think washing things keeps them cleaner and safer but not in this wash bacteria off your turkey. instead the juices can get bacteria on the surface. wash your hands before and after handling the turkey and its packaging to avoid spreading any bacteria. miami-dade county officials are looking into a new way to stop the spread of zika. >> now they want to use mosquitoes infected with a naturally occurring bacteria that stops insects from spreading the virus.
