into the neighborhood says she fears these kinds of acts will not stop. this morning the bay area is grieving the loss of a well- known attorney. she died during a diving trip over the weekend. deputies are now trying to figure out what happened. abc action news anchor, james tully is live near johns pass. her husband is also in the hospital right now. >> reporter: that's right, and we've set up at johns pass this morning because this is very close to where paramedics picked up both her having some kind of medical emergency on their boat saturday afternoon. i'll show you a picture of blaise gamba. she was just 37 years old, and her husband william actually flagged down another boater when she apparently lost consciousness after diving. william also passed out after getting help. blaise died yesterday morning. william is still recovering. deputies aren't saying exactly what kind of diving accident

area. we spoke to a colleague of hers last night obviously shocked at this news. >> all of us at the firm will miss blaise. we wish blaise's family the best in what we know is a very difficult time, , and we're obviously all hoping and praying for her husband's recovery. >> so the latest here is pinellas county deputies diving accident. they do know they were both in wet suits when they were found and there was a lot of diving equipment on their boat. live this morning in madeira beach, james tully abc action news. 5:33 now, breaking overnight out of jacksonville, three people are dead including an infant after a shooting at a food mart parking lot. one man, two women and that baby were sitting in a car when they were shot. one of the women died in the

all but the man died from their injuries. investigators say the shooting could be related to an earlier dispute between the two women. >> in jacksonville it's a sad day for everybody who lives in this area and a sad day for everybody investigating this terrible crime. >> investigators are hoping to find and interview any possible witnesses. we have an update on a man first thought to have died in high speed crash followingn speedway in clear water. pinellas park police tell us that man shot himself. he was speeding and crashed into mangroves. he had a gunshot wound to the heeds. it's a story that made international headlines, identical twin sisters living and working together maui, one is charged with the other's murder. charges were initially dropped

investigators are accusing her once again of murdering her twin sister. they believe she intentionally drove her suv off a cliff killing her sister anastasia. duval's attorneys say it was an accident. >> allison did not intend to harm the person she was closest to in this world. >> investigators say they found evidenced car accelerated just before the crash. witnesses describe seeing a struggle behind the wheel duval was arrested in new york. she is being held on $3 million bail and awaiting extra on your credit card this holiday season. many credit cards are the store branded cards are charging higher interest rates than ever before. the average rate of all store branded cards at 23.84%. that compares to an average about 15.22% for regular credit cards. shoppers plan to spend an average of $935 this holiday season. that's the second highest level

welcome back, 5:43. major overcrowding problems. >> some schools are set to be rezoned and students will be sent to schools out of their home area. rodney dunigan is live right now at river ridge high school, he's looking deeper into this issue this morning. there's a meeting planned for tonight but this idea is not sitting well with parents. >> reporter: well, especially for those families that are

simply saying that a final decision has not been made. >> first we need to keep in mind there haven't been any decisions made yet. i think there are a lot of assumptions being made at this point in time. there are some people who think they'll be rezoned and they're actually not. i think we need to keep an open mind at this point in the process. >> the committee looking into overcrowding issues has come up with four possible rezoning schools. the district says mitchell high school and seven springs middle school are extremely overcrowded while other schools are near under capacity. however, parents stressed to us it's simply not rig they moved into their specific communities for a reason, for many it was the schools. >> so that changes everything. that changes the opportunity for after school activities before school activities. it changes how early my wife or i would have to get them up in

witnesses say this one was much longer and much more intense than usual. >> good morning from the weather center, tracking some fog out there this morning, hernando, pasco county getting in on that. visibility is full and back to many in most of our area. this is good for the morning commute. there are areas, especially if you're traveling from south to north out of the opposite direction, keep in mind you'll run into that. temps mild with cloud cover up above as well in the mid-60s. we had a couple of sprinkles early this morning passing through. you see the cloud cover, more where that came from along the gulf. what's triggering this is a boundary front. we're dealing with plenty of cloud cover for today, we're not going to see much in the way of sunshine, just one day we'll fix that for tonight and the rest of the week. the not going to have to worry about umbrellas. again, just not as clear as

76 for the daytime high with temperatures about average for this time of year, a little further south and east. we'll have a few more breaks down south, closer to the front we're locked in with the cloud cover. morning lows behind the front as it clears us out tonight, we'll be in in the upper 40s in many areas here, and then lower 50s further south, and the closer you get to the water, milder but still cold, upper 50s to around 60s. keep that in tomorrow with temperatures by the afternoon recovering nicely, we go from upper 40s to almost upper 70s. a good 30-degree jump. we can do that this time of the year with that dry air. that will be with us the rest of the week with temps in the mid and upper 70s. overnight lows every night not as cold. becoming milder by the end of the week. we're still watching this crash right at siesta drive and south gate circle right here.

the duval school district is investigating after someone put up colored and whites only signs over those drinking fountains in a school in ocean way. someone pulled a nearly identical troubling stunt in gurney illinois putting these signs on a bathroom. roughly 200 students staged a sit-in protest after the signs were found. the school is now investigating. a texas mother is accused of sharing video of herself throwing her 8-year-old son out of the house after he voted for donald trump in a mock election at his school. >> the fort bend county sheriff's office is investigating after that video went viral. we have to warn you, it is upsetting. >> here's your suitcase, bye. >> get your suitcase. >> no >> get your suitcase and get out.
