overnight. deputies are using water cannons on the crowd. good good monday morning, everyone. i'm kendis gibson. >> i'm mara schiavocampo in for diane. investigations are under way after a wave of violence against police officers across the country. officers where wounded in the line of duty in st. sannibel, florida, and a deputy was murdered in texas. >> a growing memorial. signs, balloons, candles. this morning, police officers targeted. manhunt under way in san antonio, where a traffic stop turned deadly. detective benjamin marconi, a

twice in the head through the passenger side window. >> i an officer down in front of head quarters. >> reporter: the 50-year-old father of two rushed to the hospital where he passed away. in st. louis, another ambush. an officer shot twice in the face while hit siting in his patrol car. the unidentified father of three in critical but stable condition. after a city-wide manhunt. police and an officer in gladstone was shot while making a traffic stop. the officer is expected to survive. a suspect was wounded in the incident. and in south florida, an officer was shot this a drive-by while he was conducting a traffic stop on sannibel island. a suspect was take sboon custody after an exchange of gunfire with police. the officer was shot in the

a c a call for a big cleanup in houston after an suv crashes into a cell phone store. reports say the driver was pulling into a parking space and hit the gas instead of the brake. thankfully, the store was closed at the time. neither of the people in the suv were hurt. crews have finished searching the last of 14 mangled train cars t northern india. the discovery of more pods, the death toll has risen now to 145. the train was about halfway through a 27-hour journey sunday when it slid off the tracks. invest dpaters suspect that poorly maintained tracks caused the zept. a christmas toy catching fire caused toys "r" us to pull the truck from the shelves.

tropicana. we put the good in morning. good morning on a monday. we've hit our first freezing temperatures literally up at crystal river, 32 degrees at this hour, a little bit better here in the 40s. we've lot the wind so not much of a windchill out there, which is what allowed the temperatures to fall back we hit 70, upper 40s, lower 40s across the rest of hillsborough county, and then getting into upper 30s as well. lakeland right now at 39, and there it is, brooksville at 35. crystal river at 32 degrees, and we're going to continue that for a couple of hours here, lower 40s further to the south. freeze warnings all the way down to marion county, ocala into the upper 20s to low 30s this morning. we don't have any across our area.

southeast we're looking at temperatures in the upper 20s. we have another couple hours here before sunrise, so temperatures always coldest at sunrise. we have a few degrees to drop before we begin somewhat of a recovery for later this afternoon. we'll be still cool for daytime highs and then beginning a warmup. that won't be until tomorrow afternoon. i think another chilly night tonight. this is the coldest morning by far so far this season as we talk about thes the middle and latter part of the week heading into thanksgiving. the reason for that, calm winds now, but eventually we'll get off the atlantic there, becoming partly cloudy by midweek. that also will help us out with temperatures so that we go back almost right around 80 by the middle part of the weekend. we'll probably get there on thanksgiving, the day itself. if you're looking for cool air for thanksgiving, got to go north. upper 60s, low 70s this afternoon.

chilly. we'll add about 10 degrees up to the north, low to mid-40s. it's still cold, but just a little bit better and each and every morning we're going to continue to warm up. by wednesday morning we'll have temperatures in the low 60s for overnight lows. that's going to feel dramatically different. as far as boating, yesterday, terrible. now winds beginning to subside. we're looking at north winds 10 a go of it on the beach, we'll be taking pictures of you because that's going to be something. once again, before thanksgiving temperatures by the time we sit down and enjoy our meals, right around 80 degrees. we'll do that with mostly sunny skies, just a few clouds out there as we continue to warm things up for you into the upper 70s we go. by wednesday doing a bit better, certainly and look at the overnight lows now, much
