our high temperature tops out at about 80 degrees. country temperatures right new in the upper 50 toss low 60s. 62 in tampa. crystal river at 52. once that sun comes up, the temperatures are going to pop up really, really quickly. 8 a.m. 66 degrees. by 10 a.m. 75. by noon, 79 and top out at 80 degrees. no rain in the forecast but i'll let it we'll be seeing some rain coming up. so many families are preparing for a thanksgiving feast. unfortunately there are still thousands of people here in the bay area who would go out if not for the help of ministries. >> they are in the kitchen right now preparing some thousands of their annual thanksgiving dinners. rodney dunn is live at metropolitan ministries.

moving like clock work. they serve thousands. 6,000 people will be served. about 100 volunteers helping out. we have the man of the hour here. the chef louis soto. thank you for joining us. you kind of have an outline of what you are going to be serving as well. >> just as you mentioned. we're going to be serving 6,000 people today. we've been preparing and getting ready for today since last week. this is the final product. this is what we're going to be serving today. we've got the turkey. we're going turkey and then the stuffing. the amount of people that we're serving. this is what we decided to go this way. and this we're going to have regular thanksgiving. mashed potatoes, gravy, vegetables, everything is here. and we just warm it up for you. >> i know i just talked to one volunteer. he's been doing this for eight years. a lot of volunteers set up. just explain what the setup is

mentioned. a hundred volunteers coming through the kitchen through the whole day. they should be here around 6:00. some of them. so what we have is we have the kitchen in four different stages wsm committee split the volunteers among the kitchen and then we're going to have later a sign for each station so we can complete the job. >> wow. >> and the last thing i have for you, i know you're pretty busy, you work in here and do this every day on a day like thanksgiving what does it feel like? >> well, it makes me feel great. it's not the amount of people. we do this daily. the difference between a regular day and today we have three times more people than a normal day. now the motivation that i get is volunteers. they are the ones that motivate me to come in. they are asking when can i come in? and just like you mentioned

year after year, year after year. it's good to see them spend time with them. >> great t. thanks a lot. we'll let you get back to work. they are going to be serving 6,000 people. great work that they're doing for the community here. for now reporting live at metro ministries. alabama action news. sadly a family will not get to spend thanksgiving at their own home. there was burned through their home on cresthill drive. investigators are sifting through the rubble. he saw a small fire in the backyard. that fire quickly spread. >> it was little and just within minutes it completely engulfed the backyard and the side of the house. >> that man thankfully was able to rescue his son and two dogs and a firefighter revived a cat that wasn't breathing.

life grinch. that's a man breaking into a car parked outside santa's enchanted forest in miami. the driver had a dash cam. this thief took his wife's purse as the couple was inside seeing zap that. >> the hunt for the county's man suspected of killing a man ends in gunfire. he shot the police dog we don't know why. more than 300 police officers centuried the woods on foot and in the air for powell. >> the sound of the helicopters. i feel like i'm in afghanistan. it was in my backyard and the helicopters started. so as i was going down to the road, i realized that something was wrong.

some people say it's hard. just go it houston and try one. >> my goodness. most toys are not made for childrens with special needs and specialty toys can be very expensive. volunteers make simple modifications to the electronics found in toys and then they make the toys easier to use. and then they can hold them up, they can use them to light up the lights and make sounds. they have trouble pushing testimony make it is easier to use them. the family that started it was inspired by their son who is the official toy tester. mom say it's all about more than just blai. >> these are used as a tool to teach how if i press this same button it will activate my communication just the same way it activates

scaffolding collapsed in china. media outlets reporting a platd form at a power plant cooling tower that was being built. pipes and wooden planks were falling to the ground. several others are still in the hospital. one person is still missing. there's no word on why that collapsed. also new this morning dozen of people are in the hospital. more than 70 employees were exposed of those employees were evacuated after one person complained of chest pains. several people starting getting sick and passing out. the good news this morning everyone is expected to recover. the buildings ventilation system shutdown. >> the company will likely appeal a decision that awarded mills to truck drivers suing the retailer. they were awarded 55 million dollars. a federal jury found wal-mart
