we we do say hello on what is turning out to be a busy tuesday morning. i'm kendis gibson. >> and i'm drjashton in for diane macedo. fast moving wildfires forcing evacuations in a popular resort area of tennessee. >> this video from inside one popular hotel, you can see the flames surround the building. the dry and windy weather there fueling the fires over dollywood where people are being brought to safety. overnight, fierce flames and blinding smoke racing across the tennessee mountains. >> oh, my god. we need to leave. >> reporter: the wildfires engulfing the resort towns of gatlinburg home of dollywood. >> we relocated 19 families that were staying with us in our

relocated about 50 of our guest room guests here at dollywood. >> reporter: officials ordering everyone to leave calling the fire unpredictable. >> we're dealing with a situation here that is very dynamic. it's changing every moment. >> reporter: dramatic video posted online showing people evacuating. the roads barely visible from the smoke and the flames creeping closer to the road. 15-year-old logan baker inside a gatlinburg hotel stuck because the onl closed. >> we're on the first floor because they had to break the windows on the upper floors because we were suffocating from the smoke like so bad like we were on the ground suffocating. like we were flat. you had to lay perfectly flat or the smoke was like just too thick -- we had masks but it was even too thick for the masks. >> reporter: the fire moved faster than anyone expected.

fires were coming up over the hills, the flames came up into the parking lot. so then they told us we had to all stay inside. >> reporter: the sue chef at that hotel posting this terrifying video on facebook flames surrounding the building as smoke fills the room. he later wrote, they're all safe. we should point out logan told us he and his family have been evacuated from that hotel. a bit of relief there and a bit of relief for the firefighters. the first is bringing heavy rain to the area right now. the second system moves in tonight. the other breaking story we're following is a plane crash tragedy. >> charter aircraft carrying a brazilian soccer team went down in a mountainous area near the colombian city of medellin. you can see the plane circling around several times before crashing. >> new images show the dark crash scene and low visible, the

good morning from the weather center on a tuesday here. warm and humid out there. if you've been outside it's feeling a little more like late fall here or early fall instead of december almost. upper 60s right now. think about that, we almost haven't gone below we can certainly run well below that. 58 in tampa or st. pete. we were warmer yesterday than sunday, and now we're warmer than monday, in fact, by a good 5 to 10 degrees with chances that our temperatures are going to be quite high for this afternoon as well. there are the dew points and

tropical and the frogs are singing through the overnight hours, but we're getting close to where we talk about 85- degree weather combined with those dew points well into the 60s. a little sticky out there for us. south to southeast wind continues. it will be gusty at times for today. a frontal boundary won't get here until thursday. energy being left behind push, everything east and south, but again that won't happen until thursday. for us that will mean just a few showers, not the severe weather that is ongoing in the forecast here across the deep south and into the gulf, through the tennessee valley that continues to be an issue for today. you'll be able to see that southeast wind and our front not moving that much. we'll stay warm and humid until it gets here, today, tomorrow,
