convenience stores and trying their luck. >> everyone who is playing the powerball lottery -- powerball lottery has plenty of ideas on how to spend the money. >> i would buy a nice house and puerto rico. >> i would give a good bit of it to my mother because she's done a lot for me and i would put a lot in my savings for my kids. tonight customers filled the aisles and lined up at the registers. maria santiago is taking her chances. >> i play once in a great while. i know there is a chance and i don't know how many millions but i always believed that it only takes one. >> the payout is based on sales and that jackpot has been growing since november. >> the store is usually busy but not this busy. it's definitely pretty crazy.

there were strong thunderstorms and tornado warnings and southwest florida. 15 minutes we will show you some pictures. the front you see will move through tomorrow morning. once it does we will track falling temperatures. here is a look at visibility. it's down to 2 miles and that's where will we -- where we will watch fog. i'm updating what to expect tomorrow hour by hour is the front pushes by. an experimental airplane crashed and mineola county. the ultralight plane dropped about 500 feet and crashed into a field. the pilot suffered multiple injuries and was airlifted to the hospital. he is listed in stable condition. neighbors rushed to the scene to help. >> i was going to work on my truck and i hear chopper coming

don't hear chopper that big around here so i knew something was up. >> first responders say the plane took off from nearby gator airport. the name of the pilot has not been released. an accused rapist caught. earlier tonight volusia county investigators were able to track down terrel williamson. he raped a woman three times in when we get done -- at gunpoint. channel nines julie salomone went in front of a judge today. >> bond set at $100,000. >> d area hills lot -- hills eyes lit up when she heard her bond. she is charged with sexual battery and false imprisonment. the sheriff's office said he'll help 18-year-old terrel williamson raped a woman three times in the past week. >> he retrieved a gun out of

pointed it at her head. reporter: investigators said williamson committed this crime days after he got out of jail. he was arrested on december 31st for carrying a concealed weapon and narcotics and receipt -- released on the same day. many of the details of the rape are too graphic to share on television. investigators said the victim said williamson pointed a gun and demanded she take off her close and raped her. in the second incident williamson put a pillow over her face and the third time williamson punched her in hill held her down while williamson raped her. the william said he'll was there during all three incidents. >> ms. hill you are charged with sexual battery on a helpless person. julie salomone, eyewitness news. >> hill was founded her

rockledge police ours search -- searching for an armed bank robber. this is the suspect going up to the teller at the space coast credit union friday afternoon. this man dressed in a black robbed a bank with the help of another suspect. a white car was waiting for him in the parking lot next to the bank. a daytona beach substitute teacher had her 1st and last day in the classroom after she told her class that if a gunman or on campus she would let him into shoot them. the school spokesperson said 61- year-old linda baker made those comments on thursday at the elementary school. parents were notified and baker was told that services were no longer needed. no word if she will face charges. an elderly couple missing and may be in danger. 86-year-old william stevens and 8-year-old beverly stevens were

the victim told police he put her in the trunk of a car with the help of a woman. it happened this spring drive and ocala last week. you are asked to call the sheriff's office if you know where he might be. sounds like a bizarre twist. notorious drug lord guzman back behind guards -- back behind bars after months on the run. now it looks as though there is a possibility he may be extradited to the u.s. reporter: the drug kingpin guzman is back in handcuffs. the drug lord paraded in front of cameras as authorities rushed him back to the same super max prison he tunneled his way out of last year. after months on the run special forces catching up with him and the attorney general says that is thanks -- thanks to guzman himself. after the escape the infamous criminal wanted by epic made

communication -- local directors and actors. mexican marines raided a house chilling five of his men and seizing weapons, including 50 caliber sniper rifles and grenade launchers. that caught up with guzman after he ran through sewer tenders and hijack the vehicle. mexican officials quickly decay -- declaring mission accomplished. the u.s. department of justice calls that assist -- a victory for both the u.s. citizens in mexico. he faces multiple charges but no word on extradition yet. the extradition process could take several months to get through the process. guzman is responsible for nearly 1/4 of the drugs trafficked across the border. a man from perry is facing charges for acting inappropriately with 15-year-

sasha austin met the victim in august on what the chat room. the kept talking online investigators say eventually austin mailed the girls sex toys and condoms. he was arrested yesterday in taylor county and is being extradited. a man shooting a philadelphia police officer inside of his cruiser in the name of islam has been charged with attempted murder. 30-year-old edward archer was arraigned today on charges including aggravated assault and assault of a law enforcement officer. archer fired 13 shot towards officer jesse hartnett. the officer ran after him even though he was seriously hurt. his preliminary hearing set for january 25th. neighbors jumped into action when a truck jumped into a pond today. >> the vehicle was thinking way too fast. >> what eyewitnesses say they saw happen right before the crash. in the new morning for orange county residents in the ucf area.

the powerball number is 13. the jackpot, we fell short of $1 billion. it's $949 million but it's the largest jackpot for any lottery in the u.s. history. no word yet on the name of the man who died after driving into an osceola county pond. the man's truck crashed into the water near neptune road and parton settlement. eyewitness news at 10 found out man and alcohol is being considered as a possible cause of the crash. >> behind the tape first responder spent most of the morning trying to work out how this truck went into the pond. >> my mom saw a vehicle veer off the road and lose control

she yelled out from my father pond. he ran out there to try to help a man in the vehicle. reporter: the family had a ready called 911 and nobody could have made it here because the truck was sliding out to the deepest part of the lake. >> the man seem to be somewhat responsive. he was calling -- my dad was calling out to him but he did not seem lucid. >> he said the windows were open in the truck was filling up and his mom and dad were upset knowing there was nothing else they could do. >> divers had to come from orange county to find the truck. it took about an hour to drain the water while troopers retraced the drivers steps. the fhp said troopers are still trying to track down the
