develop tonight severe thunderstorms and strong winds are expected to hit our area soon. we are tracking an el nino storm system right now heading to central florida. >> we have a threat of damaging winds and even an isolated tornado. george is tracking the radar and george we a already have thunderstorms developing to our southwest. >> and rain is pushing into osceola and vard counties.

late other night through morning as well. you have to be prepared. here is a look at the rain. this is just rain pushing into southern osceola and brevard counties. we had some very light rain track over orlando. this is just the tip of the iceberg. this is a thunderstorm complex off to the south. in particular these storms aren't that strong now but they will continue to build into central florida over the next few hours with the main storm system well to the west and that will push in late overnight through early morning. watch it hour by hour through 2:00 a.m., isolated rain and storms but after 3:30 in from the west here comes that line of thunderstorms. a broken line and coming up in 17 minutes i will show you why that broken line is dangerous. i will time out that severe weather threat overnight and also to make sure you are

what app to all of your mobile devises. the alerts can wake you up if you get a severe weather warning while you are sleeping. me we are following breaking news in lake county. a food processing facility has caught on fire. this is new video of the flames shooting into the sky tonight. the building caught fire around 8:00 tonight on center street creating this dramatic video scene. you can see from the video this was a massive fire. channel 9's michael was the first news crew on the scene. firefighters were worried about gas tanks on the property. >> firefighters were able to keep the flames away from those gas tanks but that was a concern. right now they are still dumping water on this scene here. back there you can see it is basically just a pile of debris as they work to put more water on it.

it is up clear what it was used for most recently. another concern out here was the electrical lines which are pretty close to the property. this smoke that is coming up right now is drifting for several miles through the area into some residential neighborhoods. a lot of people are definitely noticing it. no one was inside at the time and no one was hurt. >> majority of our fires are residential fires. this when we got here it was already fully involved. just a wild guess about 4,000 to 5,000 square foot structure. >> and as you can see the debris back there, it appears to be a lot of damage. unclear if any of that can be salvaged. the fire marshal is on the way to the scene to start investigating and determine the cause of this fire. back to you. >> and we will stay on top of

get updates other night at -- other night at wftv.com orlando police are investigating a shooting tonight that injured two people. officers tell us it happened just after 8:00. one of the victims was shot in the shoulder, another was grazed on his head. suspects yet or motives. new tonight several people are recovering a after crash building. it happened at u.s. 1 and main street in mims. around 6:00 two cars hit each other. one of the cars flew into the building. you can see how bad that damage is. nobody was inside the property at the time. >> one of the vehicles actually went off 46 and into the doors. >> one person was sent to the hospital.

orlando police are searching tonight go two suspects -- for two suspects. the driver reportedly accelerated almost hitting the officer. he fired his gun hitting lamons. police say the car was a stolen dodge changer. police searched the backyard of this neighbor. >> these are kids but it is getting bad. it is just getting bad. i mean the younger the kids the more trouble they are getting into. >> lamons was arrested and taken to the hospital. officer mills is on paid administrative leave while the shooting is investigated also new since 6:00 sumter county department drinks -- deputies are investigating the death of man found in a forest. a couple discovered the body this morning.

death as homicide. they are working to determine the cause of death. osceola county deputies are hoping somebody can help them catch a felon on the run. take good look at this guy. 50-year-old david brown is wanted. investigators say a 12-year-old girl claims brown touched her and had sex with her several times over the past year. brown's last known address was on 19th street in st. cloud. we will be watching tomorrow morning when an orange county judge decides whether to grant bond for a man accused of three start of the year. yesterday we told you he had been arrested following the shooting of delivery driver. we found out the state is now racing to try to keep him in jail. >> he was fine, everything was perfect and then this happened.

to keep one of he has legs after being hit by gun cross fire. >> it takes a few days for them to know about that. he will be probably crippled or something. >> peck's uncle told us the family wants peck's shooter to pay. >> the question is given the fact that it is a bondable offense, do you intend to file a motion to hold him no bond? >> when 22-year-old brown went in front of judge -- [ indiscernible ] deputies say he is the one who shot peck and they say he has fired his gun at two other people since january 1st of this year. they told all that to a judge here. >> i am going give the state 48 hours to file that motion for pre-trial detention.

the last time before the iowa caucuses. covering osceola county, police are still searching for two burglars who attacked an 85-year-old woman during a home invasion. this is a sketch of one of the two suspects. police say they locked the woman in her bathroom. neighbors say they noticed the men in the neighbors garage and confronted him. we spoke with a man who got a look at one of the suspects as he chased them away. >> i guess it was some kind of instinct when i saw that happen. i knew something was wrong. it is better to go look and check and be wrong than to not. it happened that some thing was going on. at least we were able to scare them away. >> during our interview, he noticed a hammer that may have been left behind by the burglars. they are now analyzing it for prints tonight they are searching

over the next eight hours you need to watch the weather. it is like we live we have a tornado watch by 1:00 a.m. tonight especially late other night through morning there is a threat for damaging winds with strong thunderstorms. also watching our isolated tornado threat. at this point we could be looking at brief tornados overnight. maybe even a small tornado. we are hoping that we don't get any strong tornados overnight but we have to be prepared. plug in that weather radio and put our weather app on your phone right now. lightning and flooding rains will also be a threat. right now we have a few storms beginning to develop. after 1:00 we will likely see a tornado watch or by 1:00. 3:00 till 8:00 a.m. widespread storms and damaging winds. i want to take you to southern brevard county.

rain building in. we have some rain pushing into pine hills, pair dice heights and then into sumter county some heavier rain here. the rain builds in over the next few hours. the main storm system still a few hundred miles away. it is booking and it will be here by morning and so will the storms. by 2:30 a.m. these purple spots are isolated thunderstorms developing. we will have to watch how strong these will be as they get going ahead of the main storm complex. 3:30 a.m. isolated to widespread thunderstorms developing. this is what has me worried. what we would normally see as a line of gusty tomorrows but these are broken.
