federal privacy laws require redaction of student information from school records unless law enforcement officers have court orders for the records. the district says it had no choice. the case is a tough one all the way around. the teenager now in high school told apopka police last may that donald sharp sexually assaulted her several times, more than 6 years ago when he was her 3rd grade teacher at apopka elementary school. police say it has haunted her ever since. with strong emotions, she told them sharp constantly had her sit on his lap and would whisper in her ear asking if she liked it. the teenager told police he sexually molested her 3 to 4 times saying it is okay don't worry and relax and told her not to tell anyone. >> it's not uncommon for sometimes them to take a dozen years before they come forward. it is difficult for us to grasp as well in these usually start

sometimes there is not much evidence of it actually occurring. so it takes a lot of diligence. >> reporter: that is partly why police took 8 months to arrest sharp. the 66-year-old now retired is in jail on no bond. the police report says the school district investigated him in 2009 and found that other students had already been sitting on his knee or lap all year. the report quotes his written statement that students leaned back on my knee and i possibly put my hand on a back as we leaned forward to look at words in the dictionary. the police report said sharp apologize and that the district reprimanded him. apopka police say they were not notified back in 2009 of those allegations. the district told me it did notify dcf as required and did not ask sharp back to teach the next year. we are still waiting for the

instead of having them come here to the courthouse to face criminal charges, he wants them to pay a citation. >> reporter: marijuana, right now and volusia county carrying even small amounts of it can make you a criminal. >> he cuffed me, put me in the car for one hour. >> reporter: this man does not want his feet shown and was caught with 4 g of pot in his car in he's facing misdemeanor criminal charges. a proposal by county councilman josh wagner to change the way minor marijuana possession cases are handled in the county. his idea is to make it a citation instead of a criminal offense. >> similar to a county ordinance and similar to if you drive on the beach after hours are parked in the wrong zone. >> reporter: wagner former state prosecutor says cases are clogging the system and feeling jails. he believes it will actually save money by making it a citation of 50-$100 for anyone caught with fewer than 20 g of marijuana. the men we interviewed understands he broke the law

new 911 calls are giving us a frightening insight into the pitbull attack that left at her life. >> what we are now learning about the people who might have been involved. that attack was tuesday at sanford. one in critical condition today. in the past 30 minutes, 7 release told tim barber that victim is still in critical condition at an orlando regional medical center. tim is at the hospital now. i heard part of the 911 calls. they are very difficult to listen to that i ask you to pause a call just a few seconds in. >> reporter: it's hard not to get a lump in your throat when you listen to these tapes and imagine what this woman went through. i just talked to the police and they told us this woman is still in a hospital bed at ormc and she still in critical condition. some of the video from tuesday's attack is to graphic to share in the 911 calls are no different.

hello. >> reporter: these are the only ones suitable for tv. >> we need somebody to exabyte -- expedite. >> a dog is attacking a human. multiple victims, multiple dogs. i believe one was shot. >> reporter: the main call lasted 8 minutes. you can hear barking, screaming and the caller telling dispatch she cannot call -- calm down because the victim is dying in the dogs will not let go. we told you yesterday police say it is possible the dogs were involved in a similar attack in december at this apartment on the opposite side of town. reports of the peoples belong to sean pitts but the dogs attacked these 2 women. investigators cannot be sure if they're the same dogs from tuesday. after the december attack, pizza sign the dogs over to animal services but got them back. we asked if child protective services is looking into tuesday's attack because there were so many kids under the age of 13 who were in the apartment
