burglarized wednesday. they found the suitcases dumped in a nearby gas station. they think it is part of a larger trend. and a similar crime in brevard county, devotees are trying to find vandals who smashed the windows of two dozen cars at three hotels and holiday inn and hampton in were hit as well off highway 95. police took down a pair of teenagers at gunpoint and officers took them after they made a run for it. >> a local firefighter is accused of using an ambulance for personal use while on duty. and we have investigated what calls were missed while that ambulance was out of service running personal errands.

homeless people camping outside of the building period . we have been reporting on this over the last several weeks. a property appraiser issued a statement saying he will not have his employees working that location starting monday. daytona beach leaders are working with the salvation army to make extra beds available for the next 90 days and workers are doing what they can in the meantime. this is his story you don't want to look at. snake hunters have found a number of pythons. if you don't like snakes, close your eyes now. this 16 footer is the largest one they have captured. the challenge goes until february 14th. that is impressive.

how many calls came in while that vehicle was not available to respond. >> reporter: they told me they would not comment until the internal investigation was over, so i got a copy of the six word e-mail from the city manager to the fire chief. it reads please investigate and report to city manager. this is the video that they won't talk about. we have been telling you about this internal investigation into a firefighter. when i went to city hall, his personnel record was not available but he and a second firefighter recorded dropping of his children while they were off - - on duty outside of the police department. the video shows the kids getting out and 10 minutes later getting into a dark suv. and
