a woman. >>reporter: she is being held on a $500 bond and the other suspect is being held on no bond here at the jail. both are accused of turning their backs on veteran deputies who went to help them. >>have deputies ever been there before? >>no. >>reporter: tonight we were at this home when deputies took around bags filled with evidence from this backyard. to deputies were hit in the head with a baton at the home during a domestic disturbance call at noon. we asked for dash cam video but deputies say there is not and they have the baton and evidence. we have pictures of deputies skinner. hriciso received high honors during his career for risking his life during duty. >>that is really dumb and stupid. >>reporter: mike siegler lives a few doors down and met the couple.

trying to see who they were, they seem to be nice people. >>reporter: deputies arrested 22-year-old skylar francis and courtney johnson. >>it angers me and frustrates me when i see one of my team hurt. knowing they went there to try and help somebody. >>reporter: records show francis and johnson are not homeowners but the couple has been there for 2 months. we did digging and found francis has been arrested for resisting an orange county deputy without violence in 2011. francis is in jail charged with attempted murder. johnson is here charged with resisting arrest. as for the to deputies they are expected to recover from their nonlife threatening injuries. we are live ty russell. we are preparing for a round of rain courtesy of el nio. >>tom terry is tracking a system close to central florida.

we have been following developed in this story since 78-year-old arnold with him was stopped at 5:00. he was going the wrong way for about 8 miles and caused 2 crashes. a lot of talk and no action from city leaders in daytona beach. in the meantime homeless are showing up at the county administration building. county and city leaders said to be a long way from fixing the homeless issue. county commissioner joshua wagner says he thinks moving the homeless to this piece of land is the best option. the city is against having a tent city. >>the city manager is blocking stuff because it is not his way. he wants to do it his way. >>there was supposed to be a meeting with the county and scene -- city but no date has been set. we're looking to find out how a volusia county warman worked as a lpn for a year

grabbed a gun. there are no charges in a deadly shooting that happened sunday morning in marion county after a domestic dispute. investigators say michael ratliff got into a fight with his girlfriend and she ran to get help from a neighbor. the neighbor grabbed a gun and shot and killed ratliff after the 2 argued. family members were devastated when they heard what happened. >>i do not have one specific thing, i will miss everything about him. >>investigators are trying to determine what happened. a scary situation this morning forces a local school evacuate. police and rescue crews rushed orlando after a man called claiming there was a bomb on campus and he wanted to hurt as many children as possible. police say senate like robotic voice. >>i think about this all the time, unfortunately this is the
