kathi belich reports the men disappeared from the same area. >> investigators say the body was found on lake jessamine around 100 yards behind this house and it was found by a man working weed control on the lake. from skywitness 9 you can see the orange county sheriff's marine unit on the scene to recover the body. a worker on an airboat found the body just before 10:30 this morning. investigators are looking for a possible connection between the body and this man, robert pearson emma who was reported missing by his family on tuesday. the sheriff's office says he was last seen at his sister's is close by. a man who lives down the street is wondering whether gunfire he heard overnight has anything to do with the man's death. 2:00 a.m. i heard about 5 shots in a row. and about 5 minutes later i heard 3 more and he said it might not have anything to do

he said he could have been on drugs and fell in the water and drowned and that was it. >> we asked the sheriff's office whether there was a sign of gun wounds but we were told that is unclear at this point. investigators say it is too early to say whether it is a missing man who has been found or someone else. in orange county, kathi belich, channel 9 eyewitness news. teachers and seminole county still do not know if they will get raises and the school district does not want to negotiate anymore. both sides have been meeting for months now to try to come to an agreement. the district walked away from the negotiations saying they were just too far apart. channel 9's deneige broom asked the cheese church union present what it means for their salaries. >> reporter: teachers throughout the area have been singing the same tune for months. they say they are overworked and underpaid the negotiations or raises and seminole county have just hit a sour note. >> when they came back and they said they are done parts of the
