the homeless advocate that many see leading the homeless out here, he would cooperate with the city if they had the beds in place. we're live here at 6, and more on this story at 6:00. eyewitness news. for the first time an orlando city commissioner has opened up about her daughter's death. she claims her daughter was murdered five months ago. she told shannon butler not enough is being done to catch the killer. >> it's terrible, it's unbelievable to me. she's not coming back. >> the commissioner says she's more convinced than ever that her daughter was no accident. she received this death certificate from the state of florida that shows the official cause of death is still unknown. but, that the contributing factor was from bleach. hill says it was from bleach that someone poured on her. >> the bleach attack is what killed my daughter.

hospital the day before she died that someone threw bleach on her. she was treated and released but that her daughter would not tell the hospital who attacked anyone else. tallahassee police won't give details about their case. they gave the statement calling it a death investigation and won't say if they're investigating a murder or if there is a killer on the loose. sources told channel 9 recently that drugs were involved in the death and they were waiting on toxicology reports to see if this was a possible overdose. hill says there is no truth to that at all. >> my daughter isn't me, i might have had some troubles in my life as a young lady to now,, but my daughter was a good girl. >> shannon butler, channel 9 eyewitness news. and hill reconfirmed to us that her daughter did not do drugs. she believes this might be a case of domestic abuse.

we showed you when chad how the was arrested. deputies say he severely beat and tortured a patient inside a transport port van and sent jokes to co-workers about it. in his new case, he was accused of doing fraudulent returns to steal money from an auto parts store where he worked. a former corrections officer was murdered. ronnie was shot to death earlier this month in his home. investigators were treating it as a shushes suspicious death and now, they announced it's a homicide investigation. there's a $1,000 reward for any information leading to the a in this case. felony charges are being charged after this man used his position to steal. they spoke with the superintendent, the loss to the district may approach $100,000. >> that's because this

today her family said they don't believe his age at the time should get him out of prison. >> reporter: convicted murder jimmy is now 37 years old. he served 16 years of his life sentence and believes that's enough. he was in orange county court this morning for a status hearing for his effort to go free. the victim's parents say it sickens him every time they see him as they did today. >> how was it to see him this morning? >> it was very hard. i thought i was prepared, but -- he can still walk in that room and she can't. >> he's trying to get his life sentence reduced through a u.s. supreme court calling for reviews of juvenile criminals serving life sentences in 1999 he was found guilty of stabbing
