. we're following breaking news, take a look from sky witness 9 at the massive scene following an officer involved shooting on a busy sanford street. right now officers say they have 1 person in custody but the suspect is not the person who was shot. we begin our team coverage with channel 9's michael who just spoke with police, investigators haven't said yet how the victim is involved in this situation. >> police are out here right now trying to piece this all together, we've noticed they have place evidence markers in the road near those vehicles back there at this hour officers say they are not searching for any other suspects.

received a call about a suspicious man who was armed along 1792 and airport boulevard around 6:45 when police arrived shots were fired gunfire. one person was shot but unclear who fired the bullet that hit the victim we're told the victim is not the suspect that were initially called out here for. >> right now it is the initial stages and the investigation is now underway. police say they have a suspect in custody, but unclear what led up to the shooting sky witness was above the scene which includes a corridor that's usually busy on a friday night. it was kind of weired and confusing and scary because you don't know what happened to who or anything. >> there are still a lot of unanswered questions who made the initial call for help if the victim was a bystander or related to the suspect and why shots were fired we're told those are all questionsinvestigators are not looking to answer. >> investigators from fdle have

by a police blockade running from airport to lake mary boulevards. we came down and the whole street was blocked off and can't get in the motel which was a few hundred feet behind me. >> you can see it. >> they tried killing time with an hour and a half at dinner but came back to the same scene where investigators are tight lipped on details about a shooting incident located smack in the middle of the two busy roads and shutting off access to a host of hotels and restaurants for now they hunker down in their car at this near by gas station with patrons waiting for the green light to get some sleep. >> i wish they just let me go, 300 feet to my hotel room would be great until they say i can go, i guess we will be standing here waiting. >> the gas station has gotten dark and closed but people continue to wait they have been

homeless camp we were there as he announced after 44 days here those that needed a place to live would be moved somewhere else. >> if you have somewhere to go, you are free to pack it up and you are free to leave. if you refuse to leave, you are going to be arrested under the camping ordnance. some did leave one person was arrested others got on the buses to get the help they needed. 86 beds were made available at the salvation army building a mile away from here. one man told us he'll go but says there is still a lot of work that needs to be done. >> it's more for them they don't want to see homeless people on the street. saying they have to do something because of the increase in crime. >> unfortunately started out as a thing to bring attention to the homeless issue has turned into here when the sunsets. officials as well as local businesses all came together to

says the cause of death is unknown but the contributing factor was inhaling bleach there were rumors she was attacked by a group of girls on her. we are get our first look of three suspected carjackers investigators say ran from police and crashed into a busy parking lot leading to an officer involved shooting you can see how close the action played out near a pet grooming business where innocent bystander stood clueless what's going on outside. that business owner told us the outcome could have been so much worse. >> everything that was all about my life and my family and myanimals those are all my animals at the door. one of the suspects was shot but expected to be okay that person is in custody along with two other suspects.

look go over to wftv.com/videos. a former office manager in an assisted living facility is accused of stealing thousands of dollars of rent money. happened at the assisted living facility in maitland. they found checks deposited in the personal bank account totalling more than $90,000. detectives think she made false billing states statements. the three-year-old held a vigil for a safe return these were images at the flagler beach pier. now a week since volusia county deputies say this man escaped from his job at a prison work release program. investigators say he was joined by his girlfriend natasha and her son zander. he is considered armed and dangerous. detectives are checking whether a body found is a young man missing from the same area.

found the body while forming weed control at lake jasmine near oakridge road. deputies are looking for a possible connection for the man robert pearson, on tuesday his family reported him missing. nearly a month with a newautomated trash pick up service some people tell us they still can't get service. residents sent us these pictures of uncollected yard waste there since january first. they say they gave many calls to the solid waste department before calling us today. an hour after we reached out to the county, that mess was cleaned up. deputies are working to find out what caused a house fire, as deputies were responding to the fire over night they say they saw a man running from the area on river drive near ocean shore boulevard, then they heard a loud popping sound and found his body. investigators say so far it appears he took his own life. a third party will have to

sentenced as channel 9 michael explains the suspect is now asking the court to reconsider the guilty plea. fisher was ready to tell the court how her life forever changed last july but didn't get a chance not today anyway. >> for me, it was a terrible disappointment that it didn't finish. accused of attacking fisher inside her orange county home. deputies say he slashedded her throat with a box cutter and tried to rob her. reed filed this form in november indicating he wanted to plead guilty to attempted murder and robbery. the defendant was facing up to life in prison at sentencing but fisher says reed asked the court to reconsider the employee putting everything on hold. >> each time i'm recalled to go to prosecutor's office or telephone calls or whatever, it starts all over. this is a classic case of a

71 in sanford through saint cloud, kissimmee. monday forecast models showing rain in south florida kept rain officially out of our forecast, this is the gfs model on tuesday an isolated shower the next best chance for rain will be on wednesday. i think monday night, tuesday, wednesday we'll have a big severe weather outbreak to the north of the screen, but this front will kind of into central florida late thursday and friday this front may not move out until friday night we have another 2 maybe 2 and a half day rain event we just went through 48 hours ended up with 4 to 5 inches of rain. 45 tonight, cooler pleasantly dry, temperatures in the low 70s for tomorrow here is the five day forecast the weekend always in view, upper 70s on monday low 80s on tuesday our rain chance sneaks back in mid to later part of the week.

happened in saint cloud yesterday, investigators say 3 victims were tied up include ago mother and her daughter. then the mother's boyfriend was taken away in a car and found hours later. tied up inside the vehicle. neighbors say they are terrified. >> makes me worry about my family and you know, this is a pretty good neighborhood, you get outsiders coming in here, you know, you just don't know it. investigators believe this was not a random attack, they are now going over surveillance video trying to identify the suspects. next week florida lawmakers should make a decision on a couple of controversial bills allowing people to openly carry guns in public one bill would let people with concealed weapon licenses bring them on college campuses and the other carry in public, florida is one of five states that don't allow people to open carry guns in some form of fashion. a family has two weeks to get rid of half a dozen chickens they are keeping in
