through these dumpsters looking for any sign for the baby she says she abandoned. police don't know if a missing newborn baby is dead or alive. >> we found out the state may have a tough time proving charges against that mother. the mother is being held in jail. our legal analysts have told you without a baby there's no case. >> no case, martha on those child neglect charges. richardson could walk right out that door of the jail if she were to post bond but we talked to our legal analyst who says prosecutors will have a tough time proving she is guilty on those charges. tonight orange county jail workers say susan richardson could post bail and walk out the door any moment. but her long time boyfriend said he doesn't have the money to bail her out. he, too, wants to know where

that may or may not be his. orlando police took away dumpsters from an apartment complex today. they were searching for evidence of the baby girl police say she delivered monday and discarded. the 30-year-old is facing child neglect charges. but we were curious if prosecutors could prove guilt. >> it's going to be near impossible to prove the charges for which she's been arrested without discovering where that baby is. >> we also found out the missing newborn police call baby willow was meant for a relative. bryan told us earlier they have given 2 other kids to relatives before so we wanted to know if that was legal. so schafer did further digging and did find it a crime to give your child to a relative. >> tonight richardson is still

and has yet to review the case and file charges. i also got an e-mail from opd saying there are no planned searches scheduled for tomorrow to search for baby willow. we are live tonight outside the jail. and we have been on top of every development in this story since police first responded to the scene monday night. we are going to keep an eye on richardson throughout the night and we will have the latest on eyewitness news this morning starting at 5:00. police are looking for 2 men involved in a smash and grab robbery. police responded just after 7:00 tonight and police told us customers were inside the store when 2 men started breaking display cases and grabbing all sort of phones. detectives believe they got away with thousands of dollars

>> hfp have said that troopers have found an suv they believe was involved in a deadly hit and run. a driver hit him while he was jogging and that driver took off. we told you at 5:00 troopers had identified the vehicle as being a jeep cherokee and tonight an anonymous tip led them to that vehicle. tonight brevard county is working to fight the zika virus. mosquito inspectors are still canvassing homes to spread the word on preventive measures residents can take. the county is concentrating on eliminating as many mosquito breeding grounds as possible. there are now 22 confirmed cases of the seek zika virus in florida. a shooting this morning.

one other person was transported with unknown injuries. a killer is still on the loose in orange county after a mother and daughter were found murdered. the bodies were found in a home monday. we are told they had just recently moved in after living at the coalition for the homeless. >> this happened out of nowhere and i was expecting to see her. >> detectives have not named any suspects in this case. tonight three gop candidates did their best to leave lasting impressions on voters just three days before the south carolina primary this weekend. had a different format than the debates. dr. ben carson, ted cruz and marco rubio got a chance to speak one on one with moderateors.

year-old july julian grey ham in home. they are working on a plan to try to curb gun violence on and off campus. today students gathered to remember -- shot and killed in daytona beach. he is one of bc students shot in the last 12 months. some orange county residents told us they will have to wait to see if the stink in their neighborhood stops. tonight the county's landfill manager spoke during a public meeting about a plan put together by an outside company. residents told us part of the plan requires that 10 more feet of garbage piles up so that -- devices that can suck the smell will be installed. say this father loaded 2 kids in a car and put them in the middle after street race.
