if he wins his home state on tuesday is expected to ramp up the pressure on rubio to get out of the race. and maine's governor paula page endorsed trump today. on the democratic side, south carolina will hold its primary tomorrow where hillary clinton is expected to win big. hillary clinton has a lead over bernie sanders in florida as well. >> and chris, marco rubio went on making fun of trump's spelling on twitter talking about the misspelling of choker in three tweets today. it referenced rubio last night. >> how can he get this wrong? the misspells. some are not next to each. and i concluded one of two things. either that's how they spell choker at the warton school of business or he hired foreign

noticed there was a discrepancy in the amount they wrote down for the tip and how much they were charged. then the owner notices there was discrepancies in the suspect's tips spanning more than six months. when you swipe the card at a restaurant and write down the tip, how many times do you make sure that it's accurately reflected on your credit card statement? this man is accused of doing something that may make you pay attention next time you go out to work. he worked at cook's cafe across from the university. police say he stole from customers by altering tip amounts. a few dollars here, a few dollars there. the restaurant told police more than 100 of his receipts going back more than six months appear to have been altered. no one answered at his home. but late this afternoon, his attorney said it's odd this arrest came after he filed a lawsuit against cook's last

wasn't paying him according to the law. he believes he is innocent. >> they don't touch the bill. it goes to a cashier. they don't have control over that. >> reporter: an attorney for the restaurant says all servers have a code to access tips. he and police believe that he went back into the computer and changed the tips to give himself more money. >> i just think it's wrong. people tip because they want to tip for good service. that's what it's based on. >> reporter: police are asking people who are concerned there may have been a discrepance knee their credit card statements from this restaurant to give them a call. reporting in volusia county, channel 9 eyewitness news. a robber who sometimes wears a batman mask is terrorizing stores in central florida. >> he has hit eight businesses. channel 9 kathi belich is live at the most recent holdup. and he has ditched the batman

to catching him. >> reporter: that's right. he showed his face according to investigators here at the family dollar store on east colognian drivement they were able to draw up this sketch of him. investigators are hoping that someone will recognize him and tie him to a batman mask. the gunman got national media attention because of the batman mask that he wore to hide his face. they believe that's why he stopped wearing it. they want people to take a good look at this sketch. he is hispanic, left handed and dangerous. video shows the way that he waves a gun around as he orders people around. >> he is threatening the employees and basically telling them i want -- give me the stuff and no one gets hurt. if you give me what i ask for, we're good. if you give him a hard time, it seems like he becomes more

they're free to spend the money for whatever they want to. >> we learned only a portion of the funding is planned for uniforms, raising questions about the program. >> reporter: two-way radios, antibullying posters, security cameras are just some of the things that the schools plan to buy with the uniform incentive money. that's not sitting well with everyone. the state plans to hand out $3.7 million to reward eight districts that have uniforms. parents usually pay for the clothes and some question the purpose of the perk. >> if it's for uniforms they should use it for uniforms. if it's for cameras, it should be for cameras. >> reporter: lawmakers put few limits on how the money can be spent but it can't be used for

only osceola and polk county will use the money for the school supplies. >> it's a great opportunity to recognize school districts that are being pioneered. >> reporter: superintendent jacob says the money helps districts but admits it probably won't encourage anyone to adopt uniforms. >> this is a way to recognize those school districts that are doing above and beyond and then perhaps encourages others to do the same. >> reporter: i asked if the money is worth it but i had no luck. two lawmakers i spoke with had no idea for the plans for the money until i filled them in. last month, lawmakers voted to extend the program. >> as part of the extension, the state will set aside up to $14 million for the incentive. we're waiting for plans from two districts. the state is still reviewing them. an audit shows that federal

taxpayer dollars on leased vehicles. according to the government accountability office the leased vehicles are not being used to full capacity. one in ten are not even needed. five agencies wasted $6 million in a single year. that's not counting the entire federal government's fleet. >> we have wasted in the neighborhood of $80 million annually through bad lease fleet management. >> the agencies in question say they're keeping closer tabs on the leased vehicles and getting rid of cars not being used often. >> duke energy is installing 15,000 solar panels to help power the sunshine state. these are a few of the panels being placed on 17 acres. the solar facility is scheduled to come online in the spring. once it is up and running, it will generate 3.8 mega watts of electricity. the city of orlando is mapping out storm drains to be painted.

we will get patchy frost north and west tonight but nothing widespread. winds still up a little bit kind of variable. this will give us the windchills as we head towards lots of 30s. if you have an early tee time or heading out to a ball game early tomorrow morning, it will be a little cool. here are the actual temperatures when you don't factor in the winds. 42 orlando. so no freeze expected tonight. patchy frost possible in the northwest zones but not much. 55 in cocoa beach. this is the areas of the patchy frost tonight. up around ocala and northern lake county. otherwise dry cool air is slamming through the state. that will give us a fantastic weekend. the second cool surge will bring back the 30s overnight tonight. here are the daytime highs attorney. lots of upper 60s. 2 to 3 degrees warmer than today. dry air heats up faster than humid air does.

>> concerns are growing over a super bug version of lice that has spread to central florida. they're said to be resistant to treatments usually used. angela jacobs joins us live. doctors say there are still options for treatment here. >> reporter: but there are differences of opinion on what will work. a doctor's office i called this morning suggested a prescription. others swear by the natural route. but what no one can disagree with is if you don't knock out the bugs, they will be back. jennifer is a trained technician for lice interests a nationwide removal service. >> since i started working at 7:00 a.m. i probably have had 50 calls. >> reporter: much of the conversation, super lice. >> it's frustrating, especially for those who have dealt with it for so long. >> reporter: for more than two

she finds super lice are not new. immune to over the counter fixes, they have just been evolving at different rates and only getting stronger. >> it's like if i have a viral cold and i ask the doctor for an antibiotic over and over, my body becomes resistant to it. >> reporter: brevard county schools sent this letter to parents confirming cases at this titusville elementary school, citing ineffectiveness and controversy over the chemicals used in some treatments. >> nothing that you can put topically on the head is going to get rid of lice. you have to actually pull them off so they die. >> reporter: she believes the old stand-byes mean an endless cycle of frustration. >> it will spread all over the class again. >> reporter: and a child sent home with lice from a school

shannon, it took two more tries and a supervisor just to get this crash report right. >> reporter: it sure did. the accident happened at this intersection here. after that, the investigation had one, two, three reports. this wasn't a murder. it wasn't even a burglary. just a simple accident. now that driver has questions about the officer and all the investigations. these are the three reports that roy skiles received for just one accident. on february 1st, he was in a fender bender here at franklin and maguire. his car is totaled. he says the police officer stephanie roberts showed up on scene. she took the report but didn't interview him or make a diagram of the crash. you can see here all that was written was the short narrative. one that he says had several mistakes in it. including even the toe company that showed up. >> i would think that a law enforcement officer would accurately write out a report.
