to the hospital and police have few clues to go on about the driver responsible. our catherine parrotta live in taunton where this all happened. catherine, good morning. >> reporter: good morning, it happened in this relation area of taunton as well. you can see the scene here has cleared; however, the investigation does continue. here is what we know of this case so far. taunton police say this happened around 8:30 near the intersection near state street and lawrence street in taunton. police got a c and reportedly dragged a ways. when they arrived they found the man lying in the street with a serious leg injury and the driver was nowhere to be found. the victim taken to rhode island hospital and police are not sure of his condition. police are not identified who that victim is and given an update on his condition. they are still working to find the driver at this time and we are checking in with them. also working to get more information as we go through the morning here. live in taunton, catherine parrotta, fox25 morning news. fierce flames are forcing more than 20 people to find a

the neighbor called police and officers found a 3-year-old and a 5-month-old in the home living among deplorable conditions full of trash and animal waste. police also found the bodies of three dead infants. erika murray is due back in court in december. >> the lynn robbery suspect shot and killed by police has been identified. 41-year-old michael mcguiness of malden robbed a gas station early yesterday morning and he claimed he had a gun. police found him and he of the pocket and he kept walking closer. an officer shot him and mcguiness died at the hospital. among his many robbery arrests this one that we reported on back in 2010 at a 7-eleven in malden, the video gained so much attention because the 75-year-old woman is seen using a price gun to hit mcguiness while he was behind the counter. this morning we are waiting to learn the identity

an electrical bicycle in metheun when he went into the road on the ramp from route 95 to 110 when a flat-bed truck hit and killed him. the driver didn't realize at first that he hit the man but he did stop to cooperate with the investigation. and he told police he did it, the suspect in the hit-and-run crash is being held on $10,000 bail after turning himself in, milton co ncalves admitted he was driving down the street when he his lawyer said he panicked and surrendered two days later because he wanted to do the right thing. >> he stated he had no way to stop and tried to brake but hit the person. he stated it happened very fast and he struck the person and proceeded to panic and drove home. >> gene: he is due in court on december 29. another scare for the people in gatlinburg, tennessee. a brief tornado warning in the town where people are evacuating.
