at the scene. his name is michael cruze junior. a neighbor's video shows thick smoke coming out of the second, third and forth floors of the building. the window starting popping, and flames started shooting out. and another neighbor said that he saw 34-year-old michael cruz run out of the building with his daughter and collapsed on the lawn. they found little michael in a back bedroom on the second floor. >> we were knocking down the main body of fire and came across a three-year-old child. >> a good little kid and always happy. are five people total that live in this building. they're all related. most were not home when the fire break out at about 4:00.

after getting caught in the middle of and international adoption nightmare, a chicago woman has finally come home today with her newly adopted daughter from nepal. >> she went there in august to pick up the child. but bureaucrat tick red tape delayed their return till now. we were there for the homecoming. >> reporter: candace thought she would never get home from nepal with her new daughter. what was supposed to be a straightforward adoption in early august got complicate when the country changed the rules while she was overseas. >> it was constant stress of not knowing when we would get home. i think that it would have been much easier to even stay there that long for that period of time if we new that we would be going home. >> reporter: it wouldn't be till three months later that
