the officer was killed in harvey as he sat in his police vehicle. he wanted cook's gun. his accomplice plead guilty to acting as a look out. his cooperation will get him a reduced sentence f convicted he will face life in prison because the victim is a police officer. it is a second fire to tear through lockport in two years. it took 100 firefighters an hour and a half to contain the fire but not before it turned through the businesses. including a bowling alley and photographfy studio. it happened away from the hotel where the families protect out a person was killed in that fire. no word on the cause of the fire. two more men planning to announce the candidacys for the mayor. rahm emanuel expected to announce later this week. he visited the little village as he plans to announce saturday at the school on the north side. and tanny davis to make an announcement on sunday morning.

all candidates for the election can start filing the petitions on monday and must do so by friday. and chicago public schools already projecting a $700 million deficit for the next school year. the state is behind on the payments to the system. and cps said it owes 164 million from the last school year and it is late on 206 million for this year. the schools faced a deficit in august but officials managed to balance the budget by cuts costs and tapping the emergency funds. corporate america could have more than names on lights. and we're at the red line and tells us bid goes out next week to some naming rights on the agency. >> this is no limit to how far this could go. the addison stop may be called the taco bell or the bank of
