talked about the radar down in southern illinois, this is an association with an approaching cold front that will come through chicago eventually. temperatures rose to 71 degrees today but this is the only 70 degree day of the next seven. plenty of cold air out to the west. temperatures expected to be in the low 50s and 60s in the week ahead. we are seen to point to numbers that are high enough so that temperatures are in the low 50s. o'hare reporting a 22 mi. per hour wind with gusts at 29 m.p.h.. that is in fact a blizzard taking place in the dakotas, they're looking at the

foot of snow being whipped around by 60 mi. per hour winds. chicago is close to getting a little rainfall but most of the appears to be coming down to our north and parts of wisconsin. computer models show stuff moving through tonight. beyond that we should have 23 dry days before the next system comes into the area. according to the same computer model we are expecting only a few tenths of an inch of rain but it should be a fairly light dusting of rainfall tonight. here's our forecast for tonight across the area: cloudy skies low temperature of 49-54 degrees and for tomorrow we could get a peak of morning sunshine by the afternoon the clouds will increase 5-59 degrees. sunday

a new chicago restaurant is pushing to new levels. >> an upscale bistro run by someone who has run up some pretty fancy restaurants so wide a bistro? >> i realize that it was not a lot of bistro of course you have a bistro that is not too far away but i wanted to do more like a bistro that you have in france now, a modern one. it is the reason why i call itn callomic. bistronomic. very good
