animals from a private wildlife preserve. muriel clair is in the newsroom with the latest >>authorities say that based on their preliminary investigation under terry thompson released his animals before taking his own life. several of those animals were found near his body in zanesville of higher yesterday at this hour authorities believe the mountain lion a grizzly bear and a monkey are still on the list. the other animals have been rounded up or killed. deputies carrying assault rifles are conducting a search the columbus ohio zoo has offered its assistance and given deputies tranquilizer guns. the sheriff said those tranquilizer guns may be used if they see the animals in populated areas. he describes the animals as mature very big and very aggressive. >>we're still monitoring the area we have officers about that house we still see animals move around at this point >>school has been canceled in

including the american cancer society are with out with new guidelines for pap smears. experts say that the common practice of getting a pap test every year is too much because false positives lead to unnecessary biopsies the new guidelines call for pap smear every three-five years the american cancer society also recommend combining the pap test with screening for hpv the virus that causes cervical cancer. researchers in london have found a direct link between the number of facebook friends that a person has and the size of certain parts of the brain. researchers studied the brains of facebook users and found more gray matter in those with more friends. gray matter is the layer of brain tissue where mental processing occurs. they also say the more facebook friends a person has the more real world friends that probably have as well researchers say they hope for the research will show how the internet is changing in our brains.
