chicago police are looking for suspects in the beating death of retired nurse in the bridgeport neighborhood. 73 year-old virginia perillo was killed at her home sunday near 33rd and parnell. a neighbor found her lying on the ground between two cars she suffered serious head wounds and never regained consciousness before she died relatives say that she was attacked after returning from a hospital where osborne was recovering from stroke police say that she may have been robbed. >>2 chicago high-school football coaches and four players were charged today in the alleged hazing of a 14 year-old boy. the incident took place a week ago at prosser career academy on the northwest side. the beating was reportedly caught on camera as older students on the varsity football team leader freshman player with belts. coaches tom cipriani and jonathan manning were arrested and are both

quick research last night because you just don't see those every day the sun has been in such a quiet phase you have to get some storms in that atmosphere happening ... we had a beautiful day yesterday a big storm saturday night we may get thunderstorms tonight we have such hours roaming the area right now all of this to the end of bringing in the nov. cooler air. some of these rainshowers have included lightning. they are scattered to the west but the big stuff is in wisconsin.

we have lighter showers here in chicago but tonight there is a better chance for a thunderstorm as this cold front ushers and. the current line of showers will exit the area this afternoon we may get some sun breaks later this afternoon. behind this comes a cold front the wind will blow north northeast over the next couple of days with chilly temperatures we may get lake affect rainshowers as well. but we do have a 70 degree day going on and that is not without wind.

the new president of baseball operations for the chicago cubs lays out his plans to make the team a world series contender. theo epstein unveiled his goals just over an hour ago at his first news conference since joining the team. he said he wants to make the cubs a consistent winner. he said he'll accomplish this through scouting and player development making some decisions and planning towards a common vision. and he's impressed with the cubs pecs in the most recent draft. >>back of a draft room we looked at each other and fought the cubs were really getting it are really going for it internationally they're investing some of the best dollars. theo epstein and the cubs agree
