discovery after trying to determine what caused the mysterious death of a six month old baby. a check of the family home, finds three other kids living in squalor. the family lived here in the 25- hundred block of south spaulding. on tuesday, esmeralda romero and melito perez rushed their six month old son to the hospital where he eventually died of unknown causes. decided to investigate the home. that's when three other children were found living in horrible they were reportedly covered in bites, feces, and were malnourished too. the couple is now charged with several counts of misdemeanor other relatives. no "nunsense" in stone park tonight as protestors come out in support of a religious order of nuns who do not want a strip club just feet-away from their wgn's dan ponce tells us that three-million dollar strip club spring. their message is simple and direct: no more strip clubs. about 300 neighbors joined the nuns of the missionary sisters of saint charles scalabrinian for a peaceful march through the quiet neighborhood stone park. they held candles and homemade signs -

hogan's term as president. from illinois taxpayers, hogan has received a 620 thousand dollar salary, a home in urbana a chicago condo, as well as a car and driver. but...it's now time for him to move on. just two weeks after school officials asked him to repair his relationship with faculty university of illinois president michael hogan has resigned. board of trustees chairman christopher kennedy says hogan arrived at illinois during a time of chaos and provided a steady hand. >> he made a lot of change and its often difficult to watch those changes happen and stick around to enjoy the fruits of your labor. >> hogan came under serious scrutiny in january after his chief of staff resigned. she was accused of misrepresenting herself among faculty. hogan came to illinois in may of 2010 after an admissions scandal. hogan had this to say in statement today: "the underpinnings of this great institution are sound." >> he just steamrolled people, and that may work in the

corporate sector but in higher education, the ethos is shared governance. >> jason marcus waak is a university of illinois chicago graduate and parent. he's also worked in the university historian's office. he says many of president hogan's initiatives appeared as if they attempted to strip this campus of its identity. >> some of the things he was trying to do may have worked in connecticut, but here in campuses, the "one university practical. >> students here say they're hoping for a more involved leader. >> he hasn't really talked with the students, i guess there's that is it. the new man with that opportunity is bob easter, who started at the university as a doctoral student and has been on the faculty for 36 years. >> i think president hogan left him a good trail to come in and take over, i think it will be okay. >> the board of trustees is expected to ratify these measures at its next meeting on may 31st here in chicago. hogan
