>> thousands of chicago commuters cannot be sure how to get to work in a month that have there is a good chance that some roads in the real will be closed and no one seems to know for sure tonight. it is our top story seen around the country tonight yesterday it was permits and protest and now it's about how the city is getting to work. a strong indication that the tracks behind me might have to close during the summit in may which of course would affect tens of thousands of commuters and as you might expect most

commuters we spoke with today hope the tracks will stay open. each week day 172 metric trains pass under mccormick place carrying an average of 36,000 passengers six amtrak trains also passenger carrying more than 13,000. canadian national trains use the track as well. chicago businesses are reporting their could be plans to close the tracks during all or part of the convectionconvention on april 31st. for you to increase the cost and then take away service for customers, i don't think that is fair. other commuters agree including students.

last night some big thunderstorms and a friend who is an incredible photographer took the shots near morris illinois. tonight the storms are brewing out in kansas right on the edge of our cool air and very warm air out in the plains states but here in chicago a gorgeous day and a couple of cumulus clouds tried to get going but didn't gain much traction. the cold air uc to the north of oz is ready to make its move for a couple days in the chicago area, a 68 here and
