restrictions are not followed. >> i will be more vigilant as far as time of day. coordinating schedules with our customers, making sure we can accommodate the needs of our clients. >> this is the type of restriction issued each time president obama called -- comes and goes from his hometown. what is unusual is the duration of the restriction -- may 19 20, and 21st. >> chicago midway is restricted. the airport is closed for operations those couple of days of the summit. >> that is a major disruption, pilots say. the only aircraft allowed to fly include commercial, a passenger, and cargo carriers along with police ambulance and military aircraft. >> these restrictions have become a way of life for aviation. in the corporate environment, we

>> southwest suburban families are still grieving after a bizarre traffic accident that sent a father, mother, and teenage daughter. a street sweeper that allegedly ran a red light. >> an emotional news conference today, announcing the lawsuit. the family is being represented by an attorney. they are seeking millions of dollars in damages. family members say no amount of money can replace their loved ones. the evening of april 15 at the

intersection of 174 and lagrange -- a street sweeper slams into a toyota with a family of four inside. three family members were killed. the 24-year-old daughter survived the crash and is still in the hospital. >> [unintelligible] >> the family is of palestinian descent. some fluke in from israel to help take care of each other. they announced a civil lawsuit against the company that owns the street sweeper midwest maintenance. the suit alleges the driver blew through a red light and hit the car. orland park is not being sued

he is expected to join mitt romney at a formal endorsement event. testimony about her late mother -- john edwards daughter left the courtroom in tears. kate edwards has been at her father's side throughout his trial in north carolina she testified about a confrontation between mr. and mrs. edwards. elizabeth edwards was fuming over a tabloid articles exposing his extramarital affair. she was shouting at him in the raleigh airport parking lot and later collapsed. she tore off her shirt and brought and said he will not see me anymore. >> it is the biggest crackdown on medicare fraud in history. more than 100 health-care workers are charged. federal agents and out to make 108 arrest in seven different cities. they built the program out of $450 million.

crawfordsville, indiana. just out there enjoying the beautiful weather. did you see the halo around the sun today? that is a product of ice crystals. a pretty common indicator we have high clouds in the area. this morning, as the thunderstorms came to the area and were dying out we had a cloud coming out of them. that is where the cool air comes gushing out of the storm clouds. that low-level wind steal picks up at night and starts blowing up thunderstorms. there has been rapid storm development out to the west. look at st. louis -- the 90's today in st. louis. 80's all the way to minneapolis today. milwaukee is 23 degrees warmer than 24 hours ago. much of the midwest is in the same boat, having warmed up in

we switch from the nocturnal storms which you see fading out there, to the storms that blossom in the heat of the afternoon. tonight, the nighttime jet stream is redeveloping again. storms are starting to form out west. this is a wind up cloud. look how these wind up cut of one side. these wind that come up quickly -- these winds but come up completely -- quickly at night lead to a fast development of thunderstorms. highs today hit 81. we were in the 80's today at wgn. 73 at our weatherbug site. 76 at kankakee. wind gusts during the day in the range of 40-50 miles per hour. that again, is a product of

these nighttime winds that pick up. they pick up the drier air out west of us in the humid air in our area. the winds develop and and thunderstorms followed. we see these storms arriving in clusters. a second storm could bring as rain on sunday. tomorrow will be about 18 degrees above normal. back in the 80's. we are getting 2.5 more times the predictable rainfall out of this pattern many of us will pick up more than two inches of rain. here is why the jet stream is up on the high levels of the atmosphere. with it, the latest wind advisory from one of our models. they can vary quite a bit. the fact is, you are getting 2-3 its totals in some locations shows the capabilities of some
