miles southwest of mcallen texas. officials say all victims, 43 men and six women, were decapitated and dismembered. a message written on a nearby wall appeared to refer to the zetas drug cartel. but officials say, they won't rule out the possibilty the victims could be immigrants. this region which shares a border with texas, has seen an increase in similar violence over the last few years. a leading human rights organization is urging nato to fully investigate the deaths of civilians from air strikes in libya last year. "human rights watch" believes nato air strikes killed at least 72 civilians in 20-11. nato officials insist they took unprecedented care to minimize civilian casualties. aircraft from the united states... u-k and france carried out nearly 10-thousand air strikes last year. they were targeting forces loyal to libyan leader muammar gadhafi. an award-winning college marching band will stay suspended through the next academic year .... as the school investigates the hazing death of

a band member. florida a&m band member robert champion died after he was beaten during an initiation ritual on the band's bus in orlando last november. p5the schools board of trustees is meeting today to discuss news rules for the band. the school's longtime band director was forced to resign last week. and thirteen people have been charged in connection with champion's death. recently .. it was@í@í revealed about 100 band members were not enrolled in the school last fall. a congressional hearing will be held next week into the secret service sex scandal. the chairmen of the senate and house homeland security committees will lead the probe scheduled for may 23rd. the hearing will focus on agents involved in a prostitution scandal in cartagena colombia in april. senator joe lieberman, who heads the senate homeland security committee, told cnn this was .. a heartbreaking incident... and a really dangerous incident. he wants to make sure it never happens again. defense lawyers for john edwards are presenting their side of the case in his campaign finance trial.

a new study finds, one out of five american households owe more than they own. according to the university of michigan report, the problem is especially bad in the lower middle class, where medical bills, credit card debt and student loan debt outstrip a family's savings and home equity. the study finds, since 2009, most of the people who have managed to save money, are those who earn more than 50 thousand dollars a year. britain's prince william will celebrate his 30th birthday next month... and likely his most extravagant gift will come from his late mother... princess diana. that's when william will receive his inheiritance... an estimated 16-million dollars. when diana died in 19-97 her estate included cash from her divorce settlement... along with stocks and jewelry. william's brother... prince harry... will receive his half when he turns 30. the number of children who end up in the emergency room after swallowing a battery... has nearly doubled over the past 20-years.
