supervisor of so many people he said in his time in chicago over 10 years he tried not to get in the way of prosecutors and as a former prosecutor that is a really good trait for anyone in his position. he has gone over both political grounds and you cannot say he was a republican or democrat and i believe that will be his legacy. >> he was definitely an equal opportunity prosecutor let's talk about the timing of this announcement no prosecutor stays on forever do you think this will give the president enough time to appoint his successor. >> i definitely think there will be enough time. the only way it would fail is if it was blocked

in congress. i think pat fitz. will have a few recommendations for his position but i think he means it when he says he's going to take some time off. he has two children and has worked tirelessly this will give him some time to figure out his next move. i cannot wait to see who his replacement will be. this is a man who has a bachelor's degree in mathematics and economics before he graduated from harvard law school.
