9:04 pm
steve: we talked earlier about when he hits the ball to right field he's going to start then hitting with power to left and left center. this is a breaking ball that kinney tried to get away. he didn't quite get it there, and figgins looked a little shy at the wall there. i think he had another step to take. he didn't fortunately, and it turns into a double. hawk: and here's tyler. here's what he did leading off the sixth. fourth drive of the game. steve: 18 home runs given up by beavan that tied the game at three. hawk: he's got a job to do here. takes the strike.
9:05 pm
steve: flowers has not had a sacrifice this year. right now nobody is paying any attention at all to rios. he can get pretty substantial lead. now ryan comes over. still he's not all that close. hawk: that breaking ball is foul, and the count 0-2. tyler has been to the plate twice. he hit into a double play but he hit 25 -- that ball hard and seager made a good play to start the killing. now he's tried the bunt. he's 0-2.

9:14 pm
this year you don't have to pump up the guys playing every day because the fact they're in the lineup shows the manager is confident in you but the pitchers that don't throw much the players off the bench keeping those guys up and ready to go every day that's what makes complete baseball teams. that's what eventually will turn you into a winner or a playoff-bound team. if you don't have that you put a guy that's been sitting there for ten days invariably he's going to fail. hawk: there's the base on balls to back 'em. that will bring in wise. he is 2-4. here's what he did in the sixth with two ouchlts -- outs. steve: right back the up the middle the go-ahead run.
