said drew was guilty, for not guilty and one was not convinced either way but after reviewing the hearsay testimony and kathleen savio's divorce attorney harry smith they were convinced drew peterson murdered his third wife. jurors said that their testimony was extremely critical. drew peterson said second wife said that drew peterson was missing the night that kathleen savio was murdered and came home washing women's clothes and told her to lie to police if they ask about his whereabouts. prosecutors were never allowed to give a theory about how drew killed kathleen but jurors

big thunderstorms occurred south of by 80 and even in parts of southern cook county. it was a great day nonetheless. we didn't see anything of any consequence we do see these clouds hanging around for awhile before they eventually dissipate we have a high temperature in chicago today of 78 degrees but check out these numbers down through texas and oklahoma 105 degrees in oklahoma city, 104 in dallas. all three had record high temperatures today but look at the cold there. spilling south out of canada that will ride over the chicago area, tomorrow sunday and perhaps even monday we will see daytime high temperatures and a little below normal. 62 right now at o'hare

airport we did have a really breezy afternoon that accompanied the cold front but the winds have begun selling down a bit generally coming out of the northwest. the wind gust forecast for the weekend shows more gusty winds possible as we go into saturday or sunday probably sunday will be the gutsiest day of the two. notice the clair is steadily over the area that finally gives ground and allows warm air coming into the first part of next week probably tuesday and wednesday but that will be followed by another episode of chilly temperatures at least relatively chilly. indoor readings expected in the '70s that will be followed once again by more temperatures expected to be in the '80s do point temperatures some of you in the

right now the doyles run one camp year but if they can raise more money they can run more camps provide more scholarships to kids the homicide rate justin the city of chicago alone was up 60% this time last year so unfortunately every day we hear of people falling to homicide and there's just not a lot of resources available for families today. from this camp is to let kids know they're not alone they learn to avoid being identified by their tragedy and like these children they find a way to tell their story and change people's lives. >> aunt the foundation runs the illinois comfort camp this friday through sunday. they also need volunteers so check out their website. wrigley field is rocking tonight. bruce in
