will be come election day. >> approximately 15 percent of our voters will have a new polling place. >> it will result in changes for 15% of the city's 1.1 million registered voters. there will be a new precinct for these folks. the chicago board of elections doing everything they can to notify the 15%. your actual voter card will also have your precinct address. when it comes to the early voting the chairman wants to know that you do not have to go to the precinct address that is printed on your card. you have dozens of options across the city. >> whatever is most convenient

while many predicted that the president would be more direct against mitt romney. our political analyst paul lisnek says both sides helped themselves. a c-n-n poll taken just after the debate says 46 percent of americans believed, the president won the debate. 39 percent said romney won. first it was big bird. now mitt romney has set the internet on fire with another controversial debate remark. the republican candidate was responding to a question about equal pay for women. romney responded with a story about his efforts to include more women in his cabinet when

and the facebook page "binders full of women" had over 32- thousand "likes" by the time the forum was over. >> mayor emanuel will campaign for the president in one of the swing states this weekend. emanuel will be in florida from saturday to monday. he is expected to talk to seniors about medicare. emanuel will also talk about israel and the middle east with some jewish voters. though he's up for re-election. congressman jesse jackson, junior has not been seen in public for more than four months. questions are mounting about his medical condition and a federal criminal investigation into allegations of misuing campaign funds. wgn's tonya franciso spoke to some of his constituents today in the second congressional district. >> it is a little on professional. if someone is backing you you should at least show your face. >> revisits his doctor twice a day. he has also been spotted out twice at a bar not far from his own drinking with friends. >> that investigation is separate from those ethics investigation into whether jackson offered to raise a

and roll. williams was killed. her 4-year-old son, jayvon, is recovering from bruises on his face. her other son, jon king, has two broken legs. today is jon's sixth birthday. the city's red-light camera vendor won't be getting a lucrative new contract. mayor emanuel's office says "redflex traffic systems" covered up a 2-year-old ethics case until it was brought to light just days ago by a tribune investigation. the city now says the company is ineligibile for the pending city contract. the company operated chicago's red-light program since 2003 generating 300 million dollars in fines for the city. the tribune detailed how the company paid a luxury hotel tab for the city official who oversaw its program. >>the worlds cheapest cars heading for america.ú=

the company is linked to a deadly multistate outbreak of fungal meningitis that appears to be spreading. most of the patients got sick after getting contaminated steroid injections for back and neck pain. the newest infections are from drugs used in heart and eye surgery. >>an attorney for n-e-c-c says the company is cooperating with investigators. >>two u-s sailors are accused of raping and robbing a woman in japan. seaman christopher browning and petty officer third class skyler dozierwalker were arrested in okinawa yesterday. police say the sailors harassed the 27 year-old women outside a bar where they were drinking,

then followed her into an empty street and attacked her. authorities claim dozierwalker confessed to the crime, while browning is denying the accusations. the u-s embassy in tokyo is promising to cooperate fully with japanese officials. >>a trial date is set for the man who shot and killed trayvon martin. an incident that sparked heated debates about race and gun rights. george zimmerman will go on trial on june 10th. he's charged with killing the 17 year-old during his shift as a neighborhood watch volunteer in sanford, florida back in february. he claims he acted in self- defense. but, prosecutors argue he suspected martin was about to commit a crime, confronted him and opened-fire. attorneys in the case expect the trial to last three weeks. >>lance armstrong is no longer the chairman of his "livestrong" cancer charity. he stepped down yesterday. a week after the u-s anti-doping agency released a damaging report. it detailed evidence of widespread doping by armstrong and his teammates when he won

seven consecutive "tour de france" titles. armstrong was banned from cycling for life. in a statement on the charity website, armstrong said he wanted to spare the foundation any negative effects as a result of the controversy. he will continue as a board member of the foundation. >>armstrong will not be doing anymore commercials for nike. the company announced yesterday it will end its contract with the disgraced cyclist. in a statement nike said. due to the seemingly insurmountable evidence that lance armstrong participated in doping and misled nike for more than a decade, it is with great sadness that we have terminated our contract with him. the deal earned armstrong millions of dollars in endorsements. >>still ahead the misconduct uncovered during surpise raids at the cook county morgue. target goes on the offensive against a major online competitor to match prices this holiday season.

two employees were suspended but the third has not been disciplined. investigators also found thousands of documents that were supposed to be entered into a computer, but they never were. the county says it has since added a supervisor to the overnight shift. morgue operations came under scrutiny after photos revealed the overcrowding of remains. classes are back in session in north shore school district 112. where a teacher strike was settled after just one day. the teachers walked out yesterday in highland park and highwood. the two sides returned to the bargaining table around noon yesterday and reached a tentative agreement around 5:00 this morning. details on the tentative contract are not being released yet, but neither side is described as thrilled. >> you have to have compromise on both ends. the most important thing is that it may not be perfect but we are back here to teach the kids.
