police are not saying who that individual is but we now detectives have been questioning a baby sitter who was reportedly found last night covered in blood. neighbors are wondering what could have possibly provoked this brutal rampage. >> i don't know what to think. it's crazy. >> waking up to a nightmare this morning for neighbors in the brookdale section of naperville. two young children dead. sources tell us their ages are 5 1/8 years old. chicago tribune is reporting that two dogs were also found dead in the condominium units. police were called to perform the well-being and check just after 10:00 last night. wgn learned the mother of one of the children was an overnight nurse at edward hospital. police are telling us

very little right now but sources say the person of interest is a baby sitter who was also killedalso killed her own child in a bizarre attack. the babysitter was found covered in blood. needless to say neighbors are absolutely horrified. >> it's horrible. i have family with kids around that age so it is really hard to hear. >> you're looking at a live picture. an animal control man rolled up to the scene. we had reports that two dogs were killed in this rampage. we don't know if there were other dogs in that unit. naperville police are seeking to relieve people's fears. they say there is no reason to believe there is any other subject at large. >> this may raise questions

and the judge will not rule until next week. according to testimony he was playing with his 22 month old daughter last december when he grabbed a roll of tape, bound her hands and feet and put tape over her mouth. he was charged a week later after posting photos to his facebook page. >> authorities found nearly 100 animals living in horrific conditions at a home near woodstock. . 60 birds 20 dogs, cats and four rabbits were in the home. they also found a dead dog and a dead cat. it was littered with maggots, feces and garbage.

the circulation there takes days to wind down. that is exactly what is going on but it is a process that is under way. in canada north of lake ontario it reaches back to the united states with wind. remaining circulation is about 1,600 mi. across. the lower the pressure of the faster the air rising into the storm and the stronger its winds. now we're up to 29.38 in.. that is a substantial weakening of the storm system. it is still almost 1,200 mi. across. watch as we move through time and wind is still blowing.

some of these totals. tennessee sits under 3 ft. of snow. this certainly was the all-purpose october meteorological cataclysms that's for sure. we are in the sunshine right now. this system up to the west coast is the next system coming this way. watch how this happens. here's sandy and here comes the next weather systems across the mountains. we expect it to be several days before this gets here but you can see clouds start developing. it looks like the weekend will open on a cloudy note with some showers

but temperatures in the '50s as we wind up the month of october. this will be the second month we are closer to below normal temperatures. 53 degrees tomorrow. 50 degrees on friday. this suggests a system that could be kind of interesting. you could develop some showers. look how wind keeps coming down. this will pick up a little bit in the afternoon but we will be done with 30-40 mi. per hour wind gusts that are still around the area right now. breezy and cool for the season. the 49 degree high about seven degrees above normal. clouds will scatter and it will be breezy.
