there are new revelations about the illinois lottery winner who was murdered last july. just weeks before urooj khan was poisoned with cyanide, he signed an agreement giving his wife his share of a two-million dollar dry cleaning company, in the event of his death. he also made his wife the sole heir to his home in west rogers park. khan won a million dollars in the lottery in may, and was killed in july. the agreements mean, the rest of khan's heirs will share only a fraction of his estate. services begin today for a 15- year-old girl whose shooting death has drawn national attention. a visitation will be held for hadiya pendleton this afternoon, followed by a wake and funeral tomorrow. first lady michelle obama will attend the funeral. she'll be joined by white house adviser valerie jarrett, and education secretary arne duncan... who once headed the chicago public schools. pendleton was shot at a park last week, a mile from the obamas' home in kenwood. a lyric opera performer, burned in the face during a rehearsal is out of the hospital.

and here's how wesley daniel looks now. the accident happened monday while daniel practiced a fire- breathing stunt. wesley's father told reporters his son is still speaking in a "whispery croak" and mostly communicating with hand gestures. it'll be another week or so before he gets his voice back. another a-t-m scam at northern trust bank- this time in the northern suburbs. police in lake forest are working with northern trust on this most recent a-t-m fraud case. authorities found a skimming device attached to an a-t-m in the lobby of the bank's branch on east deerpath. this comes just one day after police found skimming devices on two a-t-m's in west suburban hisndale. in all cases, stolen account numbers were used to create new cards and withdraw money. a chicago police officer says he should be paid overtime for work he does at home. so he's suing the city to get the money he says is owed to him. sergeant jeffrey allen says he answers work-related e-mails and and phone calls at home from his department-issued blackberry. the suit says failing to pay an

officer for work done at home violates the fair labor standards act. if the federal lawsuit is successful, it could mean millions of dollars in back pay for officers. changes are happening sooner than expected for the city's new electric program. according to the mayor's office and integrys energy services: nearly 400-thousand households have been successfully switched to the city's program, two weeks ahead of schedule and that's leading to an additional 10-million in savings. the mayor says that's more money in the pockets of chicagoans. chicago will no longer be home to the n-f-l's smallest stadium. the seating capacity at oakland's oh-co coliseum is being reduced by nearly 10- thousand for 20-13. solider field's current capacity is 61-thousand 5-hundred. with oakland scaling back it puts their capacity at just over 53-thousand. the raiders reduced seating largely to avoid local t-v blackouts. coming up next why a recent court hearing is raising new questions about the disappearance of washington intern chandra levy.

who was found murdered more than ten years ago.despite media requests for more information. a court appearance for the man convicted of killing levy remains shrouded in secrecy. levy disappeared in may of 2- thousand-1. her body was found in a park in 2-thousand-2, after her affair with a congressman became public. ingmar guandique was convicted of killing levy in 2-thousand-10 and sentenced to 60 years in prison. he is now seeking a new trial. the judge in the appeals case said he refused to unseal major details due to safety concerns. a judge in alabama is asking president obama to posthumously award the medal of freedom to slain bus driver charles poland junior. this as surveillance video recovered from the bus shows poland defying gunman jimmy lee dykes for more than four

minutes. poland's actions allowed 21 students escape before dykes gunned him down, triggering a near week-long hostage situation involving a five-year-old boy. police finally stormed dykes' bunker and killed him, believing the boy was in imminent danger. president obama's nominee to head the c-i-a is facing more tough questions as part of his confirmation hearings in the u-s senate. john brennan is expected to attend a classified hearing next tuesday. then, the first vote on his nomination will be held on thursday. yesterday, he was quizzed about several controversial issues such as interrogation techniques and the use of drones. the obama administration believes it has the right to kill americans who are top al- qaeda operatives. brennan also insisted he has always opposed harsh interrogations, including so- called "waterboarding." brennan was 'high up' in the c- i-a after the september 11th attacks... when those practices were used. but in 2007, brennan said he believed the information obtained from these techniques helped "save lives." nothing could be further from the truth. really take such actions as the last resort to save lives. when there is no other alternative to taking an action that is going to mitigate that threat.

more problems for lance armstrong.he's been stripped of his tour de france titles for doping, but now he's being sued for 12 million dollars in prize money. s-c-a promotions presented armstrong with the cash after winning three championships. the company says while apologies are nice, ours needs to come with a check. armstrong's attorneys say the lawsuit has no merit. coming up next: the third picture shows the under george bush posing with a cardboard cutout. if you're looking to sell you
