tonight's top story >> some knew alex...some had never met him... but they gathered this evening to wrap their arms around his father and his relatives...celebrating alex's life, and focusing on his contagious smile.. not the horrible way he died this is for alex they share something in common relatives of children with autism... all touched by 14 year old alex spourdalakis... using social media to organize this vigil tonight outside his family's river grove church ... it is hard and we need a lot of support... it is a horrible shame this family did not get the support they needed > heartbreaking details have emerged in the investigation into his death.

alex --described as severely autistic -- was first given an overdose of sleeping pills. then he was stabbed to death in his bed. his mother and his caregiver - each charged with murder...after a failed suicide attempt. the motive spelled out in a note left at the scene. authorities say the two believed alex's health was deteriorating...and his medical treatment was subpar. he was a big boy... i wanted to come to pay my respects for him and the family and, the outpouring of support providing some comfort for his family. we love you more than anything and we will miss your a judge denied bond for alex's mother and his caregiver, who was also his godmother. a memorial service was held for him yesterday... and organizers of tonight's

(dissolve to fs) the deal, struck by the emanuel administration, cuts both ways... as drivers will now have to pay until 10 p-m... not 9, the other six days of the week. the agreement will also add a pay-by-cell option by may of next year... with a 35 cent surcharge tacked on in many cases. well, we all love a break when

"and then you wait another couple of weeks, and then you do an in-person audtion, it was a blessing to be a part of, a lot of fun" the choir prides itself on variety of repertoire.
