onto the head of his sleeping wife. investigators believe he pulled the trigger rolling his wife's body up into the bed sheets. appearing at the community hospital allegedly saying that his wife committed suicide. defense lawyers say that he was a welcome by the noise of a gun shot finding his wife lying in bed with the revolver and her right hand. through this ordeal is son and daughter of stood by their father as he awaited trial. it is not clear at this point in time how much of that information or if any of it will be hurt by jurors. the judge said he will take it on a case by case basis. at the courthouse

>> as political >> is in trouble again with the law. this time in africa. live in a newsroom with details. the arrest is the latest tumble in a life full of falls from grace. according to an immigration official the media reported a convicted sex offender had been in the country since november. recently been living there with an expired wiens up. reports indicate that reynolds was found with pornography. he served as an illinois congressman from 1993 to 95. and 94 while still a congressman he was indicted for sexual assault and criminal sexual abuse related to charges that he had sex with an underage campaign worker. the girl was a 16 year-old

volunteer who worked on the 1992 campaign. all serving a five-year prison sentence. also convicted on 15 on related counts of bank fraud and lying to investigators. the sentence was eventually committed by the president in 2001. since then reynolds has worked many odd jobs and is tried his hand at politics attempting a political comeback in the 2004 race for u.s. house of representatives seat. he is easily defeated by jesse jackson jr. and the democratic primary. in 2012 reynolds made a run at his old seat when the congressman resigned. that went nowhere. >> possession of blood if he is a crime and zimbabwe.

and illinois state police have closed to local lanes of the dan ryan between 31st and 35th street for a police investigation. police are on the scene were three people were reportedly shot. we're told the shooting might have followed a police pursuit that began on the dan ryan. >> we do know now that two victims were transported to northwestern memorial hospital. the third person transported to stroke her hospital according to the fire department. we will continue to update this story throughout the hour.
