the first round of concealed carry licenses going out to gun owners in illinois. >> 46,000 applications for concealed carry permits have been put in as of today. the state police do get about 400 of those applications a day. there's a lot to do. today lawmakers and law enforcement updated the new law. before the concealed carry permits are printed the applications go through multiple

questioning a woman in connection with the vandalism of several churches. earlier this month somebody spray- painted obscene messages near the entrances. authorities released images. an officer was in traffic court and saw someone who looked like the person in the video. no charges have been filed. any teacher who refuses to administer the test next week could actually lose a teaching certificate. sent a letter to school principals yesterday planning to discipline teachers who protest the annual state achievement test earlier this week teachers voted to boycott the test claiming it means nothing to the district. a different test has replaced it for next year. teachers who refuse to give the test must leave the building and will face discipline for insubordination. will be leading the charge this year. at this weekend's polar plunge. every your
