traveled here from washington to determine what caused this crash that injured 32 people. the trend operator was hired in april of 2015. in february she dozed off and overshot a station so it was on safe to open car doors. on monday she was coming to the end of her shift which would take her back and forth. she told investigators that she overslept. she was running late to work. she was not taking any medication at the time of the crash. she said she will call upon impact. impact cost $6 million of equipment damage that investigators know of so far. more work to do to determine the level of responsibility. her erratic schedule could have been the problem. >> she did admit

that she dozed off prior to entering the station. she did tell us that in february she dozed off and passed the station without stopping. the cta became aware of that almost immediately. the supervisor had a discussion with her. >> no comment from the cta today. a spokesperson indicated that the agency might provide an update a little later there are a lot of unanswered questions so far. >> bp hathe epa says the spill appears to be contained to a beach on the property. the situation has remained stable.
