questioned by police after a shooting at his manager's house. more in the investigation from the police station in north field. >> still no charges or arrests in this case. he is no wonder being questioned at the police station. this definitely remains an active investigation. crime scene tape still surrounds the home where the shooting took place in the police forensic trucks itself front. no sign of chief keef. >> that one. it even appeared he was being frisked by an officer. it was inevitable because of the nature of things going on. they live next door to the home that was being rented by his manager. they say they heard a lot of commotion coming from the home as late as 10 or 11:00

the night before. >> a lot of doors slamming and lights moving around the parking area. northfield police say someone was shot in the home in the 800 block and was driven to the hospital. the lawyer tells the chicago tribune he was a passenger in that vehicle but she does not know the circumstances surrounding the shooting. she insisted he was not involved and he did not see anything. >> the 18 year-old has had several scrapes with the lowest since 2011 on drugs and weapons charges. also includes an arrest earlier this month for a drive and dunk the influence. that comes after a recent stint in rehab. they're not surprised by what happened to have been dealing with the neighbors for quite some time. >> they were racing around the house and setting fire works off. call the police

told his wife to put down the window and lean back. >> the bullet hit the other vehicle but the driver was not her. the person was seriously injured after falling on to the blue line tracks. it happened at the california station around 730. the chicago fire department spokesman said the victim was not hit by a train but was in serious to critical condition when taken to the medical center. expected to start disciplinary proceedings against the train operator involved in the blue line crash. pending the outcome of an investigation. this is video from you to the police to be from a security camera although they have not confirmed the videos authenticity. the driver told ntsb that she dozed off before the crash. the operator did not tell them that she was asleep in february only that she closed her eyes for a moment and overshot a station platform. a spokesman said if

the agency had known she dozed off there would have been strong discipline. >> to year-old boy rescued from the retention pond has died. police were searching for the missing boy monday afternoon when they found him in the pond near his home. arrived. the boy was taken to the hospital in critical condition and pronounced dead. the authorities are trying to determine how he wandered off. to 15 year-old girl has died from her injuries. was critically injured in the crash sunday morning just miles from the st. petersburg clearwater airport. her father was flying the plane. he was killed in the crash. investigators say the plan had a field problem as it approached the airport. >> the senators are

asking for a meeting with bp following this week's oil spill. clean-up continues along the southern shore of the lake. between 9- 18 bar. of crude oil spilled into the lake after a malfunction at the plant earlier this week. crews have recovered most of the oil which got into a system that cools equipment. the epa says it does not look like there's any threat to the environment or drinking water supply. crews will continue to check the beach for oil. >> a man is suing police claiming officers beat him so severely he was hospitalized for several days and needed surgery to have a metal plate put in his head. he says he was walking earlier this month when a police officer began chasing him and hit him in the head with the butt of a gun. more officers from evanston joined in and began hitting him before handcuffing him. the lawsuit does not say why he believes he

was attacked. it does note that he is not facing any criminal charges. police and not yet commented on the lawsuit. the hot tub has been shut down for the second time in five months. health officials have been monitoring this since last fall when two men came down with legionnaires' disease. the hot tub was closed due to troubles with disinfectant levels. the rest of the facility remains open. >> jimmy carter is in chicago signing copies of his new book. it is titled a call to action. it is based on his travels around the world to reducing discrimination and violence against women. you will be at the women and children first bookstore. the event begins at 6:00 p.m. and adults must purchase the book to attend. >> the death toll rises in washington state after saturday's landslide. more

russia is getting more pushed back from the international community >>. there is approved a nonbinding resolution calling the secession vote from the ukraine and valid. u.s. senate approved $1 billion in loan guarantees for ukraine along with sanctions against russia. the house approved the loan guarantees and is now voting on sanctions. leaders of both parties say they want to get a final package to the president this week. >> rescue teams have found another body buried in a washington state landslide. the death toll stands at 25. authorities are investigating whether dozens of residents were in this area saturday morning. that is when a rain-soaked and bank and gave way dropping a tidal wave of mud and debris destroying more than 100,000 homes. one survivor says she will never forget what happened. >> it took me a
