in a car trunk in northwest indiana. >> randy has more. >> good morning. gary police say they had a promising lead in the case but no arrests so far. the victim had worked for united airlines for 27 years and was a mother of three. the body of the 54 year-old kane was found in the trunk of an abandoned car on a gravel road in a wooded area in the 2000 block of east 22nd in kerry. the lake county coroner said she had been stabbed multiple times and she suffered but toward force trauma. her body was wrapped in some kind of material. she worked as a flight attendant on an international route to chicago and lived in the point. she leaves behind two sons and a daughter. she was married but reportedly in the midst of a divorce that was to be finalized in august. her son said he was worried when the airline called on sunday after she did not show
