student at chicago state was on a break between passes yesterday when she stopped to see relatives near the 9800 block of south indiana. a man with a knife approached her and forced her back into our car and drove around the corner sexually assaulted her and forced her into the trunk. in neighbor found her. >> i was coming out to to deliver some garbage in the garbage can and i noticed a red vehicle in the alley. about that time the trump can't open and the young lady jumped out hysterical yelling help me help me and i noticed she was half closed. it was something serious. >> she was taken to the hospital and has since been released. >> owner of the building where four children died in a fire on monday has been cited for violations and at least three of his other buildings. inspectors found detectives in smoke detectors and roaches and structural issues at buildings owned by him. those buildings

a trial that has gripped south africa and the world a judge has ruled oscar pistorius cannot be found guilty of premeditated murder. he cried in court as the verdict was read today. the judge did say his actions were negligent on the night he fatally killed his girlfriend. but the judge said he did not intentionally kill her. >> cannot be found guilty of murder. that however it is not the end of the matter as culpable homicide is a competent verdict. >> the trial was adjourned for the day and how the judge will consider whether to find him guilty of culpable homicide. >> nfl hired former fbi director to investigate how the lead candidate race case. he will be given all accessed on the phone

legal issues facing the nfl as possibly as rice. >> it depends on a lot of things that still have to be shaken out. at the question as to the videotape. roger goodell the commissioner has now taken a lot of heat and maybe rightly so maybe not as to whether or not he saw the tape and whether or not somebody else in the nfl office did but he maintains there was a criminal proceeding going on at that time and they did not have the right to get the tape that came down the second tape inside the elevator. he may be right about that and that if the prosecution had that second tape and reusing it for some grand jury investigation grand juries are secret so there for the nfl may be did not have the right to get it at that time. maybe it was leaked by somebody and law-enforcement to the tv media for money or who

knows what. another question is whether or not the dallas telling the truth or whether she has been lying or someone in the nfl office lied. >> let's go back to a case winding down now oscar pistorius. the judge said that not guilty of murder. right away the judge said wait a second there is still culpable homicide. what is the equivalent in u.s. law? >> amount of negligence involved is what is important in relation to what they call culpable homicide. it is pretty close to negligent homicide. the problem we have is that this system is so different in south africa than ours. for instance there is no death penalty. we do not have that in illinois but a lot of other places. there is no jury trial. you're not even entitled to a jury. this judge

on tv she is paralleled by two other lawyers with high credentials to help her decide the case. had they wanted to or maybe still they could overrule her in the final decision. i do not think too many people know about that. it is very interesting how she found him not guilty i think. briefly she said the neighbors were very an important in deciding whether or not there was any intent on his part. she found that the neighbors there were neighbors who said they heard a scream in neighbor said they heard various things. she said they were mistaken and she said they were mistaken because the only person who screamed was actually pistorius himself. she said the neighbors were confused. maybe put things together a low but afterward because of what they saw in the media and she came up with a good " she said human beings are fallible. i found
