more travel times coming straight ahead. some hackers are threatening university of chicago students for posting a list of students accused of sex crimes. that sparked an overnight protest against those threats. tonya francisco is live in hyde tonya? >> this is turning into quite an epic battle with the latest move being an impromptu market overnight on campus by students and activists. video to show you from overnight. this march was prompted by a group called the youth chicago electronic army. it started when they hacked into a group of student club websites posting what these activists perceived as a threat against and on campus student activist that the group, you may

be put together a list called the hyde park list. listed the names of male students past and present accused of sexually assaulting students. in a posting the posted inflow of the name of a student and they claim that the person posted the list and warned that feminist, social justice warriors and others needed to be reminded who is the boss. it goes on to say it helped with the class of 2018 the hope they're paying attention. otherwise there will have to race harder. the organizer of this march says the threat is scary and terrifying. >> declaring a state of the university state of emergency. we don't take this lightly. it's a threat against me and a threat

against everyone in the university and should be taken very seriously. >> the u p a is not a new group. last year it hacked in an excess student information and pass words. they will have more to the morning but for now i'm live in hyde park back to you. >>several people have been robbed near the c-t-a red line stop outside u-s cellular field. on four occasions in the past month, men approached riders at or near the 35th street stop and demanded money. police say the men sometimes made threats or used physical force, and sometimes worked in pairs. only one of the robberies happened at night. >> it's scary. it makes me nervous. the images have to be alert. >> i hope it doesn't start something. this has been a very safe area. >>the description of the suspects vary. police are asking riders to report any suspicious behavior. a teen is being held on a one-

million dollar bond in the murder of a jesse white tumbler.quinton evans was on parole for a gun conviction at the time. police say he was one of two men who shot and killed 16-year- old devonshay lofton last thursday on north cleveland avenue. the second suspect has not been caught. prosecutors did not reveal a motive. evans was paroled in january after serving a year for unlawful use of a weapon. a third suspect is now charged in the murder of a retired chicago police sergeant. nicholas heisler was arrested in hammond last week. he's headed to bond court today. heisler is the third person charged in the death of 73 year old elmer brown. brown was shot and killed during a home invasion and robbery. that happened at brown's home at 115-th and avenue-g, in march. brown had served 38 years on the chicago police force. jesse kazmierski and a 16 year old boy are also charged with his murder. new american airstrikes against "isis" terrorists, took aim at their command and control structure, and a big source of their funding.

the humanitarian group reports civilians were killed overnight in strikes. yesterday's strikes targeted a dozen syrian oil refineries "isis" fighters seized over the summer. those refineries had been generating roughly two million dollars a day for "isis." warplanes from four arab nations have taken part in those strikes. and now, the netherlands and belgium have committed planes to the effort... and britain may join the air war when its parliament holds a special session tomorrow. president obama used a speech to the united nations to try to rally international support for the war against "isis." >> the only language they understand is force. for the u.s. they are working to dismantle this network of death. >>obama did *not define what he would consider a *victory over "isis." he called upon the nations of the world to deny re-entry to any of their citizens who travel to iraq or syria to train

with "isis," with an eye toward committing acts of terrorism back in their home countries. taking a look at the *other top stories this morning. two proviso west high school students were taken into custody after several bullets were found at the school. the hillside school was placed on lockdown yesterday afternoon... after a bullet was found on the cafeteria floor. two more bullets were found on one of the students. police arrested a student for possession of firearm ammunition. things are back to normal at o- hare after a security scare forced part of the airport to be evacuated. a bomb sniffing dog detected a suspicious bag yesterday morning. terminal one was cleared while the bag was opened. it turned out to be empty. the terminal was reopened two hours later. a controversial power plant will not be built in mc-henry county. two companies planned to build the plant next to a com-ed sub- station in the small community of oakwood hills. that led to some protests and the resignations of local officials. the plant project is now dead, but no reasons have been given. sheila von wiese mack will be laid to rest this weekend, more than a month after she was murdered in bali.

she and her daughter heather had reportedly argued over who would pay their hotel bill. mack's body was found august 13-th, stuffed into a suitcase in the trunk of a taxicab. her funeral will be held saturday at chicago's saint chrysostom episcopal church. cardinal francis george was able to keep one public appearance as he deals with an infection from his cancer treatment. the cardinal has not been seen since his successor was named last weekend. but last night he attended a dinner during the last day of the bishops conference at the marriott lincolnshire. the cardinal did not make any public statements. he's getting around on crutches as doctors treat an infection in his foot. he canceled all his other public appearances. >> pour him it's going to be a relief to step away from the administrative part and come back and have that time to rest. >> getting to celebrate his retirement rather than a funeral as we have done for all our other cardinals. >>the cardinal's successor, bishop blase cupich is going back to spokane washington today. he's not due back until his

installation on november 18-th. it's time to check your credit card statements yet again. another national chain has been hit with a data breach. this time... it's jimmy john's. the sandwich chain says approximately 216 stores appear to be affected. 23 of those locations are in illinois. 16 in the chicago area... including 4 in the city. and another 2 in northwest indiana. the company says it appears an intruder stole log-on credentials from jimmy john's and used them to access credit card information between june 16 and september 5. jimmy john's says the security what we all have to do is realize we are under attack by this group. they're organized and they're all open the global trend to get the numbers to separate you from your money. >> and they are fast. they say the security breach has been contained... and customers can use their cards safely at its locations. >> it's not just from lunch some

during a run-in with a black police officer outside of new orleans. the teen was identified as cameron tillman. he was 14- years-old. police were investigating reports of armed males entering an abandoned house. police say the boy was shot by the officer. two juveniles and an 18-year- old were arrested. they face possible criminal trespassing charges. new york city police are investigating a criminal complaint that officers used excessive force on a pregnant woman. video shows the woman being pushed to the ground by an officer early saturday morning. police say she was trying to intervene in the arrest of her son. you can hear a man yelling on the video that the woman is pregnant. her attorney believes she was hit in the stomach with some sort of object. the police department's internal affairs investigators are looking into the incident. prosecutors in georgia will not

seek the death penalty against a father who left his son to die in a hot car. justin harris' 22-month old son cooper died after he was left in a car for several hours in june. the defense says harris forgot he was in the car when he went to work. prosecutors did not say why they won't seek the death penalty. a lawyer says harris' wife is thrilled with the decision. one of the n-f-l's major sponsors is distancing itself over the league's domestic violence problems. procter and gamble removed itself from the n-f-l's breast cancer awareness campaign. the company says it will instead make a 100- thousand dollar donation to the american cancer society. the n-f-l has recognized breast cancer awareness month, every october, for the past six years. a most unusual auction takes place next week in kansas city. it seems, a chain of adult sex- toy stores failed to pay its state taxes. so its merchandise was seized...

that sparked an overnight protest against those threats. tonya francisco is live in hyde park with more.. tonya? >> as you point out, the march was in reaction to an on-line threat. a group that distributed a list of men accused of sexually assaulting and harassing students in the past here. about 200 students and activists and other members of the community should up overnight to the march. the organizer says she began organizing it yesterday at 5:00 p.m.. comes after a group, you eat a hack into some student club website and posted what it called the real list saying its mission is different than the first list published over the weekend and posted in bathrooms around campus. you see a says their list is intended to keep the hyde park community safe from people who publicly accused other students of committing

gender based offenses without any proof. also a photo and the name of a student that is says claims that the list warned other students about the men who are accused, not necessarily tried but accused of sexual assault and in the posting is a feminine social justice warriors and others need to be reminded who is boss and says they hope the class of 2018 is paying attention. otherwise the u e a will to commit other acts of gender based violence. the organizers, to no one pretends school but in holding a march she says they are declaring a state of emergency. >> i don't think i have words to explain how it makes me feel as a survivor or as a woman as an alumni of this campus. we can't take these threats lightly and

hannah graham disappeared from nearly two weeks ago. matthew went to a police station in virginia last weekend. he talked to a lawyer, and then left, before an arrest warrant was issued. >> he asked if it was safe to stay on the beach. >> we don't have any information on what would have prompted him to head to the part of the country. >>matthew had last been seen driving his sister's car, which was impounded last night. there are still no signs of upstairs the work the suspected killer of a pennsylvania state trooper may be making a *game out of the police manhunt for him. searchers in the pocono mountains have found eric frein's jeep and a pack of his cigarettes. they retrieved a gun and some bullets earlier this week. a state police investigator says frein has been spotted a few times in the past two weeks... but always from a distance. and he speculates, frein is intentionally making himself visible, to *taunt the police. he's considered armed and dangerous. a man cutting wood at a lumber yard in tennessee says he made

press conference. >> former jersey shore star the situation is facing several charges of crimes. a federal indictment says he and his brother did not properly pay tax on $8.9 million that he made for promotional activity. his lawyer says he believes there is no basis to prove he did anything criminally wrong. his brothers are right now free on bail. >> that sounds like promotional stuff. phil hughes just lost a half million dollars, because of a little rain. hughes has had a successful season as a pitcher for the minnesota twins. his contract included a 500- thousand dollar bonus if he pitched 210 innings. he was one vote shy of that threshold when the rains came yesterday... the game was delayed... and hughes didn't return. he's not scheduled for any more games... and the team has no plans to let him throw an inning as a *relief pitcher, just to let him collect his bonus. i guess he only sells for $10
