inside a basement apartment. the fire was reported around 11:00 last night in the court in unit although the rental building a 4929 west parker. the fire was put out quickly and the bodies were found. two women believed to be in their mid-20s. according to a source, an accelerant may have been used to start a fire and the flames were limited to small area with in that fire. and the unit did not have detectors. but the smoke and triggered a detector upstairs and a resident called in the fire. a man and two women had lived in the downstairs unit since summer. >> they've been there since july. we hardly spoke so like a said i would leave in the morning for work and come back and i would never see them much. >> that president says his

mother had heard banging and suspicious sense coming from the basement unit earlier in the night. the fire and police department are investigating. >> the nurse who traveled with the symptoms earlier than originally reported. that has led to an expanded search for people she had contact with. andrew spencer has more. >> for being the first person in the u.s. to attract the ebola virus, she was in good spirits thursday. she had plenty of support as an ambulance took her away from the hospital in dallas and she was flown to maryland and taken to the national institute of health. a co-worker was taken to the emory hospital in atlanta the day before. vincent had taken to commercial flights between dallas and cleveland days before her

instead of the protocols in place now, people do not readily disclose their information. they may engage in sending called broken travel, picking up their trip so that they can hide the fact they have been to one of these countries where there is a disease in place. >>the president is considering appointing a so-called 'ebola czar' to handle the problem here. he has already signed an executive order to deploy national guard troops to west africa. mayor emanuel is holding a meeting today to see how prepared the city is to deal with the virus if it ever gets here. the c-d-c is reportedly considering designating one hospital as the main treatment center if any cases appear in chicago. several hospitals are being considered, including rush university medical center and the university of chicago. alderman george cardenas also wants details behind the city's response plan. he is the chairman of the city council's public health and environmental protection committee. he plans to hold hearings on this matter soon. that would include testimony

from public health and medical officials. the illinois department of public health has opened an ebola hotline to answer your questions. you can call the number 24-7. the number is 800-889-3931. staff from the illinois poison center are managing the hotline. a man accused of shooting two mchenry county sheriffs deputies is due in court today. scott peters was arrested yesterday afternoon along a road near crystal lake. earlier in the day, authorities were called to his home in holiday hills for a possible domestic dispute. police say peters shot two deputies when they arrived, and exchanged gunfire with a third before running off. it triggered a massive manhunt ... schools were locked down and residents were told to stay inside. >> relieved. we were waiting. it was a rough day. >> we have described his unique clothing, shorts and t-shirt and people her that and called us. he walked down the road came out of the wooded area and was walking down the road. >>peters is charged with attempted first-degree murder and aggravated battery with a firearm.

they also argued that the school didn't get zoning approval before building the bleachers. a judge ruled in favor of the residents yesterday, giving the school until december first to tear them down. the bleachers cost one million dollars to build. the school district might file an appeal with the state supreme court. demolition has begun on the bleachers at wrigley field. it's part of the first phase of a 575-million dollar renovation project. the walls along waveland and sheffield will be torn down and expanded to allow for more bleacher seating, and additional signage. the bullpens will also be moved to underneath the bleachers. the cubs say this phase will be complete by the start of next season. today is the 10-th day of the teachers strike in waukegan. negotiations ended without a resolution yesterday. the school district says the union suspended talks indefinitely and refuses to negotiate. but the union says its giving the district time to go over its numbers and to come back with a more serious offer. them and hopefully come back with a fresh approach to negotiating. we need to see more movement on their part to end this.

>> sources say the circumstances surrounding this fire are very suspicious. behind me, crews are boarding up the building after what may be a case of arson and perhaps a far more serious crime. the bodies of two women in their 20s discovered in the basement apartment soon after an upstairs neighbor reported the fire around 11:00 p.m.. the flames for limited to a small area within the unit. this is along the 4500 block and a source says an accelerant was apparently used to set the fire. according to a residence, a man and two women have lived in the rental apartment since the summer. the man has not been roundly but the two women were often together and seemed to be friendly. >> the girls were a couple. they were going to college and they did work the guy i don't know if

is known for keeping to itself, how could a home and up crawling with 7000 of them? >> they usually hide. i don't think anybody really knows why this happens. it doesn't happen quite often. something about that house that they liked and there was a food source for them. nice places that they enjoyed hanging out. and eventually there were a lot. >> the most spiders, the brown recluse does it make it a priority to attack humans but they are backed into a dark corner and they feel threatened they can be dangerous. >> the bite can caused a very nasty wound in people's skin. it's not something the spider bite will kill you but it can give you a very nasty open wound that takes quite a while to heal. >> there are a few of them at the museum but thankfully that's about as close as you are going to get in the chicago area.
