>> good morning. a lot of new developments overnight in this case they have been developing ever since friday. we don't have a lot of information on the three additional bodies that have been found we to know one of them was a 43 year-old woman that woman was strangled. two additional bodies were found in the same residence here in gary. but no ages from the cause of death has been released. fast brings the total to seven. we are expecting more information. there is a press conference that is expected to happen later this afternoon. also expecting that the 43 year-old suspect could be seeing some of these charges that could be handed down later today. this started when police arrested a 43 resident in

connection with the murder of a 19 year-old woman whose body was found friday, strangled at a motel in hammond. they may have met through an website. shortly after, a search warrant was served on the man and once he was in custody police say he confessed to at least three other murders. he told police where they could find the bodies. some bodies were decomposed. all and abandoned homes. one woman was identified and she was a woman who's been missing since october 8th. sources said the man acted alone and seems to be intelligent. he is also a registered sex offender in austin, texas. sources say more bodies could be found in connection with this man. >> we have evidence that he was in texas, all over the u.s.. i would like to let them complete

the investigation. i don't want to taint it with the prospect of calling this person a serial killer, >> we are expecting a lot more information at an afternoon news conference with police. but overnight, gary police are finding three additional bodies, all women, all near where the other victims in this case were found. the 43 world could also see some of those first charges in the case. fremont a developing story. we will be added all morning long. back to you. >> two men were killed after the car they were in hit a squad car and crashed into a building. that happened at ogden and pulaski late last night. police say the car was speeding down ogden when it hit a squad

car that was sitting in traffic. the car wound up going into a taco restaurant. both men inside were pronounced dead at the scene. >> police 90 mi. per hour. 10 seconds after the cop got hit is all about 20 cars coming out. it was crazy. it was just a line of cops who were probably chasing the bad. >>a police sergeant was taken to the hospital for minor injuries. no one inside the restaurant was hurt. police have not said why the car was going so fast. early voting for the november 4-th election begins today. and president obama is in town, to stump for his fellow democrats. mayor emanuel greeted obama as he arrived at o'hare airport yesterday. a rally at chicago state university included most of the local democratic leadership. obama called upon his local supporters to vote early for governor quinn and senate durbin. >> the first thing i am going to do is to cast my vote to reelect dick durbin and give four more years. four more years to our governor. >>president clinton campaigns for quinn tomorrow. vice president biden visits

made in duncan's case. three people are quarantined in ohio, after they came in contact with infected nurse amber vinson. the pentagon says it will create a team of 30 medical experts to get to wherever the next ebola case happens. taking a look at the *other top stories this morning. chicago police are circulating this sketch of a man wanted for trying to lure two children from their home on the southwest side. it happened two weeks ago, at 77th and kilpatrick. police say the man offered the ten and 12-year-old children kim and nurses' contract expires this week. the hospital once the court to insure nurses in nine critical areas will be working on tuesdays contract or not. could continues in the chicago river after a construction barge sinks in the west loop on

and died of a heart attack in his backyard near sacramento. before anyone could discover marion williams' body, a black *bear found it, dragged it to his cave, and *ate most of it. it took ten days for searchers to find what was left of the body. investigators were able to get a fingerprint i.d. california wildlife officials considered killing the bear. but they decided, he just saw a food source, and took it... and he poses no danger to the public. the rams and seahawks game in saint louis wasn't the *only showdown in the city yesterday. after the game, some rams fans got into a fight outside the stadium, with a handful of people protesting the ferguson police department. the marchers were angry about the police shooting of teenager michael brown. they got even angrier, when a woman grabbed a protester's flag. the woman and her daughter were arrested. two people were injured in the fighting. students involved in the

pumpkin festival riots in new hampshire may be expelled. the president of keene state college said the school will take serious action against students who participated. taken to the hospital yesterday... after rioters threw rocks, bottles and even overturned cars. police used riot gear and tear gas to control the rowdy crowd. 12 people were arrested. but a bright side in all this. more than 200 students volunteered to clean up the mess after the rioting. a woman was arrested in california for trying to illegally enter the home of a man she met online ... but, it wasn't your usual break-in. she tried to climb through the chimney. a neighbor called police to report the woman was stuck. it took firefighter two hours to get her out. they used soap and a jackhammer to dismantle the chimney. the woman was charged with illegal entry and providing police with fake information. the man who lives in the home says he went on six dates with the woman. >> class in the works. soap and a jackhammer.

friday when the police arrested the 43 year-old from gary indiana in connection with the murder of the 19 year-old woman whose body was found strangled friday inside a room at a motel. we are told they may have met through back page dot com, a west website escorts have a history of using. once in custody she confessed to lease three other murders and told police where they could find the bodies. all were women. some were decomposing. only one of victims identified was a 35 year-old woman who was reported missing since october 8th. sources say that the fourth real suspect acted alone and seems to be intelligent. police say he is a registered sex offender out of austin texas. the first victim discovered by police. the mother spoke with our station in denver overnight. >> i can't describe her. she's

but no one has heard much about. that's exactly this situation. when it comes down to is black hats and black dogs are the last animals to be adopted in shelters. they spent the longest time before they get adopted and they're the most euphemized pets in shelters all over the country. we'd look at that and say why? what kind of discrimination is going on. we need to put an end to it. what it boils down to is that there are superstition's against black casts. we have heard that. with black dogs and i think in a lot of movies, black dogs and dark animals are sometimes depicted as the mean animal in a movie. maybe it comes from something like that. some of the more practical things we see here we see a lot of people who choose their pet by appearance. probably not the best way to pick your pet. look at their

behavior and personality and interact with them. but nowadays, many pets are children by the internet. they see pictures on the internet. darker animals are typically more difficult to photograph and show their personalities. sometimes against a different background. they don't shop as well. the same thing applies to when people are at the shelter looking for a pet. darker animals and in the darker areas in the back of a cage, it may be difficult. i really stress, i've had a lot of different animals and they have all been wonderful pets. some of those black pets have been the best. they don't have that personalities or are ordinary. >> that includes my parents attacked wilson. helene this weekend what should we keep in mind? >> make sure all the candy is going to the people in charge of

that candy. it's good to be at the level of pets. every halloween we have problems with pet scanning into chocolate. now some of the sugarless gums have things that are bad to pets as well. keep that can be out of reach of the pets. holiday decorations also, the sparks curiosity of the pet. we find animals who eat the decorations the will get stuck inside of them. holidays are also the most common time for pets to be lost. the door is open hundreds of times during that trip retreat. keep your pet in a safe place and make sure that proper identification and think about getting the microchips at your veterinarian until the permanent identification just in case they get lost. >> i'm working on a story tonight on the puppy mill ordnance in cook county. i know that chicago is being watched very closely as to what happens with that. i am just wondering what your thoughts are on this and how it will play out?
